Darlings, we’re trying to come up with a play on the word “color” simply because this red carpet was awash in it, but alas, there is no way to do it without sounding stupid. Suffice it to say, the looks were classic and colorful – and (almost) everyone turned it OUT.
We liked her hair better when she was rocking the ‘fro at Fashion Week. Nice dress, but nothing earth-shattering.
Fabulous color on her.
Amber Riley in Theia
Oh Miss Amber, you make us so proud.
Anika Noni Rose in Toujouri
Sweetie, your dress is a little cray, but we think it works on you. It’s your hair that’s making you look like a topiary.
Ohhhhhhh, you could have been PERFECT if you’d just buttoned your jacket. You must be overcome with regret now, Anthony.
Archie Panjabi in Hervé L. Leroux
Also a great color. The gowns here tended toward these sleek, classic looks rendered in fabulous colors. That’s not a bad way for a red carpet to go.
Nothing fits and your tie is crooked.
Damon Wayans Jr.
He’s adorable, but it’s disconcerting how much he looks like his father, who’s a lot closer to our age. Could’ve used a fitting on that jacket.
From this angle, the top doesn’t look that flattering but we love this look. We love the idea of stripes on the RC.
WOW. You are WERQing what god gave you, girl.
No man wearing this is going to look like anything but a parking valet.
At some point, it’s all going to hit him at once. He’ll wake up one day, try to put an outfit like this on, and the universe will finally smack him down and say, “Enough. You’re like 60.”
Simple but pretty.
KILLA look. LOVE this. But the pants need a slight hem.
Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji
She looks adorable.
Regina King in Romona Keveza
Clearly working on those arms in preparation for the inevitable portrayal of Michelle Obama.
Hate the hair and the shoes look a little dominatrix-y paired with that dress.
Tamera Mowry-Housley in Nicole Miller and Tia Mowry Hardrict in BCBG Max Azria
Every time we happen to land on their awful reality show, we always stop and stare in silence. After a few minutes, one of us will inevitably say “Why?”
We feel the same about their dresses.
Taraji P. Henson in Randi Rahm
Miss Lady is serving it UP and all you other ladies can just clear the red carpet, now.
