SAG Awards Red Carpet, Part THREE

Posted on January 30, 2012

Don’t falter now, girls! We’re at the home stretch of bitchery!

Amber Heard in Zac Posen

Enh. More weird cutouts. Seems to have been a theme for the night.

Amber Riley in Badgley Mischka

The shape is great on her, but no gal should ever wear a bow that big on her front. Don’t much like the hair and makeup either.

Angela Kinsey

Pretty. So generic she could be modeling refrigerators on a ’50s game show, but still pretty.

Berenice Bejo in Ralph Lauren

The pendant is beautiful but it doesn’t lift this dress up from dull.

Dianna Agron in Carolina Herrera

Check YOU, Nancy Drew! Color AND cleavage! We feel a little faint.

Also, you look great, but the purple shoes were a no. Hair is fabulous, though.

Ellie Kemper in Lorena Sarbu

Absolutely gorgeous color on her – but that doesn’t mean it should have extended to her eyeshadow.

Emilia Clarke in Chanel

Striking, but we don’t love the sleeves.

Jane Lynch in David Meister

Why Miss Jane. We do believe you found the perfect dress for you. Have one made in every color.

Jenna Ushkowitz in Rebecca Minkoff

A lot of the ladies were just dying to show the world that strip of skin just above their hips, for some reason. A bit too much going on here.

Julianna Margulies in Calvin Klein

Pretty. No complaints, although it looks a little bridal.

Julie Bowen in Temperley London

Don’t love the platform shoes (never with a gown, ladies), but the dress is soft and pretty – and she tends to default too much to the hard and severe. We love the color on her. Hair’s a bit disappointing.

Katrina Bowden in Amsale

Practically identical to Julianna Margulies’ dress. Ladystars, why on earth would any of you pick a white lace dress for the red carpet? You KNOW someone else will be wearing one.

Kristen Wiig in Balenciaga

Really fabulous shape and neckline for her. We would have liked some color, though. The choker is all wrong.

Maria Menounos in Dolce & Gabbana

 Enh. Seen it. Seen them.

Meryl Streep in Vivienne Westwood

God bless ya, Mary Louise. We don’t know how you got into your head that volume and big belts were your best friends, but at this point, it’s almost funny how much you stubbornly stick to these kinds of looks. Pretty color, but the proportions are, once again, terrible.

And the hair is surprisingly frumpy and aging.

Natalie Portman in Giambattista Valli Couture

Gotta give it up for her; she looks amazing, even if it’s fairly simple.

Naya Rivera in Naeem Khan
/p>
Scorching hot, but a bra would have been nice.

George Clooney in Giorgio Armani and Stacy Keibler in Marchesa

He still insists on suits a size too large for him. She looks spectacular. Possibly a personal best for her.

Tina Fey in Vintage Versace

It’s kind of hard not to see Sarah Palin when she wears her hair that way, but we love the simple elegance of the dress.

Zoe Saldana in Givenchy Couture

 SHUTTING. IT. DOWN.
