A little too valentines day advert for me, personally, but it’s prolly just the backdrop.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_EDI2DLE7DE3YPW2ONIHBWOVHMA ecallaw

Love the understated makeup, and that dress is gorgeous.

The dress isn’t to my taste but there’s no denying that she looks fab in it. (Though I might just be saying this because I’m mesmerised by her boobs, which look AMAZING.)

    • Anonymous

She looks great.  But I cannot get over the feeling that she has done something to her gorgeous face.  She’s still beautiful, but looks somewhat unlike herself.  It makes me sad.

      • Anonymous

I was thinking exactly the same. She’s definitely done something to her face!

      • Anonymous

I know–every time I see a picture of her, I wouldn’t recognize her if there wasn’t a caption. And she’s a very recognizable person (or used to be).

      • Anonymous

Huh. I thought she was just aging, but then I tend to be a little naive with regard to unnecessary surgery.

    • Heather Kaplin

It looks like something I can buy in a store, but it looks really nice on her :)

    • Anonymous

I love the shape of the flowy dress and her hair and makeup look very pretty, but the print itself makes her look like a walking bio-hazard of multiplying virus cells.

I think watching Project Runway is doing very bad things to my head.

    • Anonymous

This is the epitome of aging gracefully, American actress version.

    • Vaniljekjeks

That dress is doing wonders for her.  She looks fantastic.

    • Anonymous

She looks absolutely amazing. The dress is gorgeous, and look how pretty her hair and makeup are!

    • Anonymous

So often (even when she was young and even more effortlessly gorgeous) I’ve wondered *why* she didn’t seem to want to appear to advantage and if it was intentional.

She looks wonderful here. Whoever she’s got on the current team, I hope she hangs on to them.

    • http://www.facebook.com/hunter.abrams Hunter Abrams

gorgeous but what is up with her eyes?

      • Anonymous

Maybe she was just about to wink, and it got caught on camera?  I’d much rather believe that – rather than a bit of Botox gone awry!  She looks wonderful in that dress – I like that her dress lost those little frilly extensions on the sleeve.

    • Anonymous

Just Beautiful, even in front of that way-too-busy background!

    • https://profiles.google.com/104791269167429064986 Judy S

I think she looks better now than 10 years ago.

    • Anonymous

She’s giving off a bit of a Christina Hendricks vibe in this. I like it!

      • Anonymous

        yes! sharp eyes!

    • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

She’s looks marvelous.  It looks effortless and free, and she looks relaxed and healthy. I do think though, that she’s had a bit of work done to ‘freshen up” a bit.

      • http://twitter.com/SetMeOnFYYYYAH Miss World

me too! my immediate impression was that she had something done since the last time I saw candids of her.

    • Anonymous

      Flawless.

    • Joseph Davidson

That dress is gorgeous.  The hem is kind of annoying, but Uma looks wonderful.

    • Anonymous

Uma does look great, and yes, so do her tits.

Soft and flowy…yet somehow bold at the same time.

      werq & snaps.

    • k_skenes

She looks better than the model.   Well done, Uma!

    • Loretta Pontillo

I think she looks beautiful too! Her eyes might be a little wonky but we’re actually all slightly asymmetrical when we yawn or something, so that might be it.

And btw, God’s Love We Deliver is one of the most lovely charities I know of. My grandmother’s best friend Joan had 13 children, and my grandmother had 10 children. Joan and my grandma were almost like sisters, so the 23 kids were almost like cousins. So while Joan’s family isn’t actually related to me, we all felt the pain when one of Joan’s sons died of AIDS quite young, only 30 or 32, way back in the late 80s, pre red-ribbon time. Both our families have been involved with GLWD since then, especially Joan. They deliver meals to home-bound AIDS patients. I even love the name — since so many idiots think that AIDS is god’s punishment, it’s especially good to remind them that god is supposed to love us, not hate us. Anyway, if you want to throw $10 or $20 their way, you know it’ll go to a great cause.

      Snaps up! Y’all kill me!

      WERQ!!!!

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_3JSTXMWWVZN2QNP2UEKJMTWD7U Isabel

Like the shade of blond! Madonna, Jennifer Aniston – have a look!

    • Anonymous

      beautiful!

    • http://profiles.google.com/laura.jane.ogorman Laura O’Gorman

She looks really lovely here. And you’re right, that’s a word you don’t get to use to describe many celebrities on the red carpet.

    • Anonymous

Always stunned anew any time I see her in closeup. Such a shayna punim*. The dress hardly matters, although in this case I think she looks good considering she’s wearing a busy print in a difficult color. Why haven’t we seen her in a good movie lately? Did I miss it?
      *pretty face

    • Anonymous

Nice dress and her tits DO look great, but I really don’t like her hair. It’s so…triangular. It looks like the hairstyle of my young-but-kind-of-frumpy high school math teacher. Still, it is definitely an improvement over past showings.

      • Anonymous

I would like to see her hair up, like the model’s.  She has such a divine neck.

    • Anonymous

She looks fantastic and the sleeve modifications were a definite improvement.

    • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

I hate the dress, but SHE looks great.

    • Anonymous

She is so gorgeous that it’s like a double treat when she makes the effort to WERQ it. I was oohing and aahing until the second to last pic, where the hand in the backdrop looks like it’s copping a feel. God’s Love delivering? Uhhh…..

    • http://twitter.com/anacedillo Ana Cedillo

she looks great, and yeah her make up and hair look great too. but that dress is….hmm. too valentine for sure, and those sleeves are kind of cheap looking. i dont like it one bit

    • Anonymous

Even her cleavage is werqing a heart shape to match the background! Well done.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_5AWFUE7PIKJWCNZQMR5H4DBHGM Angela

I think she looks great although a little springtime to me.  She’s supporting a fantastic cause.

    • MilaXX

She looks really good. Not a dress I would choose, but it fits her well and it’s a great color on her.

    • Anonymous

Gorgeous. I want that dress so much.

    • Anonymous

Very pretty. It is a little hard on the eyes against that particular backdrop, but that doesn’t diminish her WERQ at all.

She manages to look soft and va-va-voom at the same time. Impressive.

    • Tom Shea

If this is a God’s Lovve We Deliver event, can those annoying queens from “The A-List New York” be far behind? Just listen for the drunken screeching.

    • http://twitter.com/MandySCG MandyJane

That is a beautiful dress, and she looks great.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_ENBX3563Q4ZNCVRGSJVFIB7OAA Thom

She looks fantastic, but is anyone else immediately reminded of Christina Hendricks’ hair and makeup? If so, then Christina, make sure to borrow that dress in your size (but if available in a different color, thank you very much).

    • Anonymous

She looks beautiful!  I love the print, and she looks happy.   And Uma, haul the girls out more often!!

    • Anonymous

Very, very nice. She looks like she’s put on a little bit of weight, which is fine — she can certainly carry it and does so well. Occasionally, she looked a bit gaunt and stick-thin when she was younger, and this body suits her better now. Love the color on her.

      • Anonymous

Yes, she looks beautiful.  The dress actually looks better on her, with a bit a curve, than on the model.  I love the neckline, sleeves, print.  If it was shortened to just below the knee (and bigger and cheaper) I would buy this.

    • Anonymous

At first I wasn’t sure about the romantic ruffly floaty thing on her, but damned if that isn’t a great color on her, plus her bod is all voluptuous and shit. She looks great. WERQ!

    • Anonymous

SHe looks like a woman, not like some of the scarecrows we have been seeing lately (cough demi cough) and I would wear that dress in a heartbeat, even a knee-length 40s version would be awesome….

    • Anonymous

Fabulous. In that last shot, for some reason she looks kind of like Padma Lakshmi.

      • Anonymous

I see what you mean – it’s the extreme wide-set eyes.

    • Anonymous

I don’t know if I give it a WERQ but it is definitely an improvement: a lovely dress on a beautiful woman, nicely made up.

    • Julian Betkowski

I think she just remembered that she is in fact a super model, or at least a better model than actress.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_3AJ237ND3GAHDQJZ4TLCO4WLRA Emily

Wow.  Beautiful!  I want that dress and hair!

    • Anonymous

She looks purdy!!  Love the dress…. the pink appears more pronounced on her than the picture of the model.

    • Judy_J

      Lovely.

    • Anonymous

She looks much better than she did 10 or 15 years ago when she was far too skinny and looked like a chihuahua. She looks much healthier now. Love her hair, but the combination of the dress and the background makes my eyes hurt.

    • Anonymous

      Very pretty.

    • Anonymous

Looks beautiful in a girly-girly way and the décolletage looks just like the Gods Love We Deliver logo!

    • Anonymous

so nice to see ms uma  so stunning. Hope she’s having fun with these fab looks. WERRRRRQ!

    • Allison Woods

      That dress! LOVE!!

    • Anonymous

So she put her arm through the little cutout on the sleeve so the flounce is in her armpit? I adore her but I’m hating the injections she had put in her face.

    • Joyce VG

      Goddess!

    • Anonymous

Fresh, pretty AND age appropriate. Kristin Davis should be taking notes.

    • http://kittysdrawings.com Esz

Wow that dress is straight out of the 30′s (except for the cleavage showing part)…. LOVE it – very elegant. :-D

    • Anonymous

      Wow, she looks amazing!

    • Anonymous

      Wow, gorgeous.

    • Anonymous

Uma looks great these days.  Does she have a project or a movie in the works?

    • Anonymous

This might be best we’ve seen her dressed and styled since the costumes for The Producers. .  More exciting for me personally is, color aside, this is exactly what my grandma wore for her wedding in 1949.  I can’t wait to show it to her the next time I visit.

    • Anonymous

She is starting to remind me of Angie Dickinson…not NEARLY as feisty but you know…PS the styling on that model is SO damn bad its funny.

    • http://profiles.google.com/mochizukisan kyasarin mochizuki

One, hooray for God’s Love We Deliver. Please consider dropping them a couple of bucks (or, if you can, giving a few hours of your time), my fellow bitter kittens, because they do Good Work, and have done for decades, bless ‘em.

Two, I hope Miz Thurman’s career trajectory starts going as well as her red carpet trajectory, because she is hella-fun to watch on the screen when she’s working with good material. Cross fingers.

She looks lovely but (here we go again with that bee that AKA can’t get our of her bonnet) she is in New York and it is fall and this is from a resort wear collection and frankly, it looks it. I have to go to a Gala thingy on Tuesday and believe me, if someone walks in wearing this I will be judging her – harshly – for being WAY out of season. It’s 48 degrees darlings, let’s mind our color palette shall we?
