You WERQ that flawless goddess shit, girl!

But we don’t like your shoes.

Wow, must be nice to have a bod like that to WERQ a dress like that. I don’t mind the shoes. Red nails are perfect.  The necklace is a bit too literally a choker – it really looks like its got a grip on her neck…

Stunning, that woman does NOT age. I had to go back to the first picture to notice FrankenGoslingClooney and that’s tough to upstage.

    • Sobaika Mirza

You know, I would be wearing platforms all the time on the red carpet (although I’d go to great lengths to make sure the hem hid it well). Why? Because I am Snooki-sized. A smurf. Not that Michael Michele is, but maybe there are some practical reasons why celebs do it with formal wear. They’re also so much more comfortable.

      • Rand Ortega

LOL! By your pic you’re much cuter than any Smurf.

Wow, have heard of her in donkey’s ears. Still looks great.

I think I would have chosen a different necklace though.

GothamTomato, you just changed my life.
As a child, I heard countless adults use the term “Donkey Years” and I wondered to myself – “Donkey Years? Donkeys don’t have particular longevity, do they?” NOW it makes sense – they were saying it wrong (or I was hearing it wrong). Donkeys have long EARS, not years! Hooray! LOLHave a fabulous weekend. ;-)

        • Anonymous

‘Donkey’s ears’ is Cockney rhyming slang for ‘years’.

I’m sorry. I can’t get behind that necklace. It looks like she’s being attacked by some kind of crab.

    • MilaXX

Girlfriend simply does not age. Love her!

    • Anonymous

The whole thing is pretty and yet it looks comfortable.  Even the funky necklace doesn’t bother me.

    • Anonymous

Gorgeous. I even think the neck thing works, even though that isn’t the sort of thing I like.

    • Wrenaria

She’s gorgeous but I hate the shoes and don’t feel she’s werqing that necklace at all. In fact, I think that necklace is trying to eat her.

    • http://twitter.com/RobertSanchez36 Robert Sanchez

Have never really liked her, ever since she pulled the “Don’t you know who I am?” crap with a friend of mine who worked retail. But she does look good here, except for, as you pointed out, those shoes.

      • Anonymous

If it’s any comfort to your friend, I have no idea who this woman is either.

        • Anonymous

          me neither, and ha!

          • Anonymous

She played a doctor on ER for a few seasons. But I had to really reach in my memorybank to remember. Considering that that was like 10 years ago I have to agree that she does look good.

            • http://twitter.com/RobertSanchez36 Robert Sanchez

And she wasn’t even semi-famous when she pulled this trick, it was back in the early ’90s at a Macy’s when she was filming the CBS “Crime Time After Primetime” show “Dangerous Curves”!

      • Anonymous

I never heard of her before this post, either.

    • Sara__B

The dress should be a size larger — the draping is stretched out until it looks like static cling — and the necklace appears to have eaten her neck. She’s a stunning woman, but I don’t like the way the gown and necklace fit her.

    • http://twitter.com/#!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

I love the shit out of that dress.  I’m only wishing her lipcolor was a little brighter, but she looks amazing.

    • Anonymous

She’s so gorgeous.  Really like her as an actress.  Haven’t seen her in a while. And I want that dress – and that body!

    • Terence Ng

I wish she hadn’t modified the dress.

    • Anonymous

I like the way they did the shoulder straps better on the model.  to me, changing it to a single shoulder element makes the dress just another grecian wilma.  the version on the model actually had something that wan’t run of the mill,  That said, she does look great.

    • Anonymous

She looks fabulous, though I agree that the necklace is frightening–I wonder if it’s part of the dress?  The necklace on the model is so similar, and on the model it looks like it may be part of the dress.

    • Anonymous

Gorgeous! And I like the shoes.

    • Lisa

      Just gorgeous!

    • Anonymous

Everything is a WERQ except the hair (color) and the shoes. Love the necklace, especially paired with that dress.  Makes a real WOW statement.

    • Anonymous

Looks like a Bert design on one of his better days. Like. She needs a longer neck for that necklace, though.

      • Anonymous

Actually I was thinking that this was the white version of the dress that Blenley made for the wife of the man she had to create a dress for. Her’s was in blue.

      • Anonymous

I was thinking it looked like a Bert design too.

    • Anonymous

Shoes are TERRIBLE. Ugh. Can platforms go away, or at least stay away from fancy dresses? HATE.

    • Anonymous

She is wearing PLATFORMS with that dress and you gave her a WERQ?????  And yet darling Evan Rachel gets practically a “whatever” from you guys?  Have you had your coffee?  Did someone forget their Midol today?

    • Anonymous

She was inspired by the cockatoo AND the raven!

A weak PR joke on a Friday afternoon…

Random thoughts from my soggy brain: gorgeous dress and accessories, crappy shoes, beautiful woman, looks like she could be Vanessa Williams’s sister.

    • Anonymous

I like the original neckline better.

    • Anonymous

Well, who in the world is this fabulous creature?  Must google.

    • Anonymous

WOW!  A++!  10/10!  IN IN IN!

A gorgeous woman dress and styled to the nth degree.

      Brava!

    • Anonymous

      Great dress.

The necklace makes her seem to have no neck.   That’s the only flaw.

    • narita_rayna

she looks amazing, but that necklace is too ‘hide the adam’s apple’.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Nicole-Walraven/527225623 Nicole Walraven

why does she have sparkly testicles wrapped around her neck?

      • Anonymous

Yes! hahaha.  That is my question.

    • Anonymous

      Posing’s not her thing.

    • Anonymous

      Oh yes, WERQ.

    • Anonymous

You’re right. Shoes are so wrong.

    • http://asskickingadviser.com/ Ass Kicking Adviser

That’s the definition of WERQ: I hate the dress and the necklace and the shoes and I still think she is pulling it off in a mighty-mighty way. Where has this woman been since ER? Apparently in a secret compartment that prevented her from aging. She’s fab.

    • Anonymous

Awful shoes and hair color…otherwise she looks great.

    • Anonymous

Great dress, fits her flawless….. but that necklace is just too god awful ugly for words.  And her hair color sucks.

    • http://ldvfashionfix.com/ La:Dolce:Vita Fashion Fix

Bwahahaaa!! I definitely said flawless in my head until I saw the shoes.. She’s lucky she’s gorgeous.

    • Anonymous

      Shoes aside, she looks perfect

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1214755227 Meira Niibori

The huge necklace plus the very wide shoulder strap aren’t working for me here.  Her neck’s being eaten, she’s too closed-in or something.  And her hair looks shellacked.  And I hate her shoes, too.  So, maybe not quite WERQ for me.  But she does look fantastic in the dress itself.

    • Anonymous

She’s even WERQing the hell out of that necklace. The shoes need to go but DAMN she looks stunning. Esp. in that first shot.

    • Anonymous

Because I’m catching up on yesterday’s posts, I looked at the Olivia Wilde post before this one and have to say that the shoe issue is completely different.  These shoes are partially hidden and do not distract like Olivia Wilde’s.

    • http://www.facebook.com/charlotte.horseman Charlotte Horseman

Love the dress – but can’t get past how “choker” the choker is … it’s making me choke a little myself.

    • Anonymous

I’m always intrigued when a one-shoulder dress has a different shoulder covered in the model photo and the client photo.  Makes me wonder if a stylist actually made a decision that one of the client’s shoulders was actually better looking than the other?  Or if perhaps one of the photos was flipped?  Anyway, it’s a great dress, she is rocking the look, and I love the Eartha Kitt “Let’s Misbehave” vibe she’s projecting.  WERQ, indeed!

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=14301272 Kate Gorton

Definitely a fan of the bodice modifications. Those shoes are so 90s in a bad way; so is her super-dark toe nail polish.

    • Anonymous

I don’t like the way they’ve changed the top; it turns it from fabulous to ordinary.  I like the model’s look much better.

    • Anonymous

The original version on the model is so much nicer. And the neck thing is atrocious — it needed to be edited out. The shoes are the least of her problems. I don’t love it.

    • Anonymous

That dress needs…dare I say…a slip. Its so clingy I thought it was trousers.

    • Anonymous

I guess I don’t understand how and why these types of dresses with the wrapping tops are so often changed, and not for the better. I love the look as seen on the model, reminds me of Kimberly’s dress top the other day. It’s been reduced to just another wilma on Michael Michele. Although she is beautiful in it. Love that crazy necklace thing.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Vienna-Marriott/100001636120960 Vienna Marriott

The necklace is gorgeous but the dress looks like a cheapy.

    • Anonymous

Oh, no. That necklace looks like it’s choking her and trying to eat her face. And the shoes are awful.

    • http://twitter.com/rachelruthlee Rachel Lee

Her necklace kind of looks like it has two testicles. ):

    • Anonymous

The necklace is fantastic.  Dress aint too shabby either.
