Let’s look at some cute young people and judge their clothing. It’s life-affirming.

SHE: Is making all those people who said they were sick of seeing the Dolce & Gabbana lace dresses and the Dolce & Gabbana star-spangled dresses very happy. But be careful what you wish for, bitches, because a year from now you’re all going to be saying “If I see one more sheer floral D& G dress, I’m gonna scream!” Still, she looks cute and fresh here, no? We might have suggested cleaner makeup, but there’s certainly nothing wrong with slapping a little color on your face and highlighting your eyes. If you’re gonna do the messy ‘do, then this would be the way to go if you want to keep T Lo happy. Anything more polished would have taken this into Betty Draperville. We even like the ankle straps, but mainly because the strap is so delicate. Kind of wish there was a pop of color at her feet instead of the black, but we suppose there’s enough color in the dress. Love the earrings. Our only complaint is that the fit of the dress makes her look a little thick-waisted. The waist is hitting just a little high on her. Score: 9/10, for wearing something pretty, feminine, eye-catching and most importantly, NEW.

HE: Is adorable. The suit fits him very well, although the jacket seems a tiny bit long on him. Love the combination of a black suit, skinny black tie, and striped shirt. There’s a simple starkness to the look but it still has some visual interest. We covet the shoes. Score: 9/10, because we’re not entirely convinced the heavy-soled shoes work that well with such a tailored, slim suit. And also because the wisps of hair sticking up are kind of distracting.

Combined Score: 9/10. Well done, children.
