Pairs Division: Clooney & Keibler

Posted on October 21, 2011

It looks like there was a series of meetings after Stacey went out with George in hookerwear and a quick image re-alignment was forced on the girl to get her more in line with the Clooney brand. Suddenly she’s all Princess Grace:

George Clooney and Stacy KeiblerStacy Keibler and George Clooney attend the premiere of “The Descendants” in London. Stacy Keibler wears a Maria Lucia Hohan gown paired with a Kotur bag, Le Vian earrings and a Hellmuth ring.

George Clooney and Stacy Keibler

George Clooney and Stacy Keibler

SHE: Looks much, much better like this. We have to say, we really love her hair here. And while the gown is a huge step in the right direction, the fit is kind of weird across the stomach and the color absolutely does not suit her. The clutch might as well be an iPhone case but check out the ring girl’s sporting there. Nicely done, Stacey. Oh, who are we kidding? At midnight, it goes back in the box and a stylist’s assistant will drop it off at the jewelers the next morning. Still, Cinderella did loads better and proved that she can be the pretty, tasteful kind of gal who looks just right next to Prince George. We would have loved this dress in a midnight blue, however. Score: 8.5/10.

HE: Is, as always, George Clooney. Wearing another banker’s suit. But that’s fine, because he looks great and we are pleased to see his collar is starched enough that he can still look suave sans tie. The break in his pants is slightly longer than we like to see but not so long that we’re horribly offended. Score: 8.5/10.

Combined Score: 8.5/10. Well done, semi-Royal-looking couple.

Really? The hair kind of looks like a helmet. And the dress color is too close to her skin color.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1344922354 Eric Scheirer Stott

I could say something similar about Clooney- he’s basically a study in gray and beige now

  • Anonymous

Girlfriend is looking MUCH better here. I wasn’t even sure if it WAS the same girl that wore the doily/working girl dress.

    Bravo dearie.

It does look a little poochy above the belt though.

  • http://twitter.com/VicksieDo Vickie Lord

I actually think George looks bored and sad here.  NEXT!~~~

    • Anonymous

And old!  When did that happen?

      • JillK

Aw, George will still be looking good in his 70′s.  Take it from a girl who grew up watching his dad on the 6:00 news every night.

  • Anonymous

I hate this look on her – just hate it period. The dress, the hair, the make-up… Still kinda trashy to me b/c all I can see are her boobs and I wish I couldn’t.

  • Anonymous

Well done to both! Dress is still a scoonch too low, IMO.

  • http://profiles.google.com/misslauraschultz Laura Schultz

Hate the color on her. Too bad.

  • http://www.facebook.com/CatherineKatz Catherine Katz

Is it me or is the bodice on that dress WAY too short on her very long waisted torso?  If she raises her arms, the girls will escape!!

  • Stefanos Mantyla

Wait! Is that Stacey Keibler? Was she the same girl as in the other post? And I did not even recognize her until now? Wow! Some DWTS fan I am, huh? (Started watching season 7, though, and she was season 2, but still!)

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Margaret-Carlson-Nikoleit/100002490979930 Margaret Carlson Nikoleit

We started watching DWTS in season 2, so I have a little fondness for her from that. And in my recollection (possibly flawed) she was beautifully dressed/made up for most of her dances. Maybe she should consult with the DTWS costume designer on more flattering colors than this.

  • http://asskickingadviser.com/ Ass Kicking Adviser

8.5? Wow, someone’s feeling generous this morning. That is a wacky dress. It’s about to fall off her, it looks so strange in the mid section – yucka. It’s like a bib to cover her ta-ta’s. Still hooker in my book. Maybe it’s just that they look so not good together. I give her a 5.

  • Kat Chappell

I don’t like what we can see of the back; could be because it’s super close to skin-tone, but I don’t like it. I wish the fabric on the front of the dress continued all the way around.

  • Sara__B

He’s under-dressed (wear a tie!) or she’s over-dressed (choose a dress not a full-length gown). I wish they looked as if they had planned to attend the same event.

    • Anonymous

I thought the same thing.  Why is he so casual when she looks like she’s going to a formal ball?  Should have been a few more points deducted for this.

  • Judy_J

Wrong color, too tight in the waist.  But boy, does she look happy, and who can blame her?  The expression on her face in the second photo is all “Aren’t I the luckiest girl in the world?”

    • http://twitter.com/hamsteaky Maria Smith

She’ll be lucky for the next 6 months or so until he drops her! That is his M.O.

  • Anonymous

Her hair is so pretty here.

  • Anonymous

I will wear whatever George wants me to.  It may be a short ride, but it’d be worth it.

  • Anonymous

Someone on Go Fug Yourself mused that maybe George has a closet full of gowns for his “women” and he threw Stacey in there after the black hooker number, based mostly on the fit of that Marchesa dress she wore (poorly) at another premier event. I like Stacey from her WWE days…I’m sure that’s a time of her life George would like her to forget about. Girl has legs up to her armpits…she needs to show them a little….

  • Anonymous

I want to claw this bitch’s eyes out.
Nah, just kidding. She’s cute and seemed refreshingly normal on DWTS. I can’t hate.

I still don’t think she looks right on My George’s arm, though.

I don’t mind the dress, but that’s REALLY not her color.

  • Sobaika Mirza

I’m glad we’re discussing this instead of the outfit where Kiebler suffered an unfortunate boob tape misshap. She looks lovely here.

  • MilaXX

Stacey looks great, but that is not her color. I agree Midnight blue would have been great. George looks like George. No quibble regarding the scores.

  • Sara__B

George isn’t used to dressing blondes.

  • Anonymous

Miss Keibler reminds me most of Charlene Wittstock – the Olympic swimmer who wed Prince Albert.

    • Anonymous

I thought the same thing!  Especially in the previous post where her dress emphasized her wide shoulders.

  • Anonymous

Good heavens, she looks like a different person.  In a good way.

George STILL looks like he just met her and isn’t really sure who she is.

  • Onika K Morris-Alleyne

I preferred the Versace. She’s too good to be George’s latest beard/dress-up-dolly.

    • Alisa Rivera

I agree on the Versace. It was pretty revealing but the has a lamming bod and pulled it off. This dress is pretty but doesn’t suit her.

  • Anonymous

Sorry, I’m pretty much over Clooney. Here, he looks like a tired, smirking phony. I like his work, I groove with his politics, but I’m just not at all into him as a personality/being/hottie/man. Give me Colin Firth, please.

No matter how many comparisons are made, I remember Cary Grant, AND HE’S NO CARY GRANT!

Her hair is nice, but her nails are awful. The dress is ugly.
Her: 3/10 and Him: 5/10 (because of phony smile and standing ding-toed for a picture)

  • Anonymous

I say Nay to him dressed down like that while she’s in the most “serious” outfit I’ve seen her in.

More than Princess Grace, she’s looking very Princess Charlene, uncomfortable vibe included.

  • Anonymous

What’s going on with the back of the dress?  Is it her skin color?  Or is it some sort of see-through illusion netting??  Either way, it looks kind of weird, like the back of the bodice doesn’t exist and they just taped the front on.

  • Anonymous

Um, ok that dress?  Reminds me, in both color and draping, of the big drapes in my rich Aunt Mildred’s house.  The purse looks like a pencil case.  The hair – well ok, at least it’s styled.  But it’s the wrong dress for her.  She has shoulders like a linebacker.  And the bodice of the dress – the sheer part makes the whole thing look weird.  I wish George would just come out of the closet.

    • Alisa Rivera

Is he gay? Another blogger I read has hinted strongly that he’s straight but into serious kink, which is why he goes for these trashy women with strong arms.

      • http://twitter.com/ILikeShiny Cindi Williams

I think you may have started a trend. Women everywhere are going to start doing biceps curls and smoking Newports to land themselves a Clooney. Buy stock in clear high heels now.

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_OQAEI5VIBLXN6YAONCDMUQVRBI Sydney Rose

Speaking as a straight woman, I find him way more sexy when he poses with other guys. Somehow he never looks quite right with these ladies.

  • Anonymous

That dress is very weirdly shaped. It makes her between-boobs-and-tummy area all poofy, is too tight around the high waistline, and somehow manages to exaggerate her shoulders. Ick. Ptui.

  • Anonymous

The fit of his dress makes it look borrowed.  I know it is, but it shouldn’t look it.  I would score her a point lower and knock a point off his while we are at (he should receive a deduction just like he ladies do for being predictable).

  • Anonymous

They look so strange together. She looks thrilled and he looks like, “How much longer?”    I don’t like her hairdo.  Something suitable for Myrna Loy.  What is going on with him?  I’m starting to fret.  Will always love him for the wonderful “Michael Clayton.” Pretty dress, smashing body.

  • Anonymous

I don’t know why, but this coupling of Clooney’s looks even more unconvincing than the previous ones.

I like her dress, but the bodice looks wonky on her.

  • Mariah J

Sorry no no no. Any dress that gives someone that fit a pooch is a major out. Also that is probably the worst color she could wear.  Him: ugh.

  • Anonymous

I agree on all points.  Lovely dress, wrong color.  Hair looks lovely.  Hers, that is.  They have exactly the same skin color and tone – shouldn’t they use different shades in the tanning machine?   I kid because I love….

  • Anonymous

I hate the dress. It’s strangely constructed with the see through bodice back, the too tight belting and the color is bleh. Her hair is pretty but so not Stacy.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Katherine-Lavender/553350310 Katherine Lavender

I preferred the Versace. At least it looked honest.

  • Anonymous

But on a scale of sexual chemistry, it’s a 0/10. LOL, Clooney. LOL.

  • CQAussie

He is so hot it hurts.

  • http://twitter.com/teachersharon TeacherSharon

Can we give him an extra +0.5 for the dreamy way he’s looking at her in the middle shot? Oh, Clooney, my Clooney! He brings the swoony.

    • Anonymous

S’funny because I see him looking at her with–what is the word?  BOREDOM.  He is not matching her “Here I am with fucking George Clooney” grin.

      • http://twitter.com/Alloyjane Alloy Jane

Seriously.  He looks so disinterested, I hope she’s not too stoked about being his latest accessory.  And I love the hair and I don’t care how appropriate that style would look with leather breeches.  It’s fancy shmancy hair!

      • http://twitter.com/teachersharon TeacherSharon

I stand by my analysis. As a Clooney watcher of nearly two decades, the second shot is his lean-in, about-to-kiss swoon. He usually reserves that one solely for Julianna Margulies’ character in ER or for Brad Pitt. Trust me on this one.

  • Anonymous

These two are just an odd pair.

  • http://twitter.com/anilly anilly

Really, TLO? The hair? She looks like a blond Austrian princess from the 1800s. Ever seen those German movies about Sissi, the Empress? There’s your inspiration.

  • Cathy S

I like the hair but hate the dress. Maybe it’s the color. I like the clutch though. He’s gorgeous. As always.

  • Anonymous

Really? A woman wears a formal gown and diamonds, and a man wears a suit with an open shirt and no tie, and that is considered OK? I don’t care if it is Clooney. She was forced to put the effort in – full on makeup, hair, and styling, and he threw on a suit and a shirt and skipped the tie.

No, the world is not fair, and I’m sick of it.

  • Anonymous

George Clooney will always be georgous. But he’s looking shorter and creakier than usual. Maybe dating women his own age would help him look better in comparison.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_OQAEI5VIBLXN6YAONCDMUQVRBI Sydney Rose

He’s getting older — like all of us.

    • Anonymous

Pigs will soar through the sky before a man like him is seen dating a woman even close to his own age :/ It’s amazing how short the window is for a woman between too young and too old… oops blink, and you missed it! ;) Life is cruel!

  • Anonymous

Honey, this is not your dress.  At all.

  • Anonymous

she looks glamorous but you’re right, it’s not her color and it fits funny. I was hoping we were done with neutral gowns.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jessica-TallGirl-Freeman/1043623567 Jessica TallGirl Freeman

I quite like the dress, except for that sheer panel thing going on in the back, which is probably what is making it lose it’s shape around her stomach.  Whatever.  I would dress in whatever Mr. Clooney told me to if he’d take me on the red carpet.

  • Anonymous

Much improved! I like that she looks happy to be there. (Who wouldn’t?) The sash looks a bit tight. Is she taller than George? If so, good for him.

  • Anonymous

I’m starting to get a Prince Albert and Princess Charlene vibe from these two…

  • Anonymous

Is this the only suit he owns?

  • Anonymous

Are we sure that this is the same woman? And why is the color so washed out? Was there something wrong with the camera?

  • http://twitter.com/#!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

To my eyes, she overshot classy and landed in matronly.  Better than the Versace/Vegas escort look but the image could still use some work.

  • Anonymous

    Dear George,

Please buy your girlfriend a dress that fits. Someone with her body never has to go out with a spare tire hanging over her belt.

    Love, Me

  • Anonymous

When I saw the thumbnail and the “Pairs Division” underneath it, for a sec I thought you were meant Stacy’s boobs. Yet another reason why “nude” colors are not a girl’s best friend.

  • Anonymous

The hair style is ageing. She has the same “eighthead” problem Elizabeth Moss has.

  • Angela Green

I just feel weird that a WWE wrestler gets to have the sex with George Clooney.  And yes, by weird I do mean terribly, terribly jealous.

    • Anonymous

I still think he is gay!!! Look at their body language when he moves in close – she is pulling back. Weird vibes, I tell you!!

      • Sara__B

Farsighted people (like me) usually pull back a little if someone gets too close to see clearly. Maybe she’s farsighted.

  • Anonymous

The dress is too small for her. Other than that, she looks good. George is just dreamy as usual.

  • http://needtherapy.tumblr.com skadi1

I LOVE her hair.  I’m going to have to figure out how to do mine like that (without the stylist).
He looks much prettier in the grey suit, but I think he might be a bit old for the three-buttons unbuttoned shirt.

  • Anonymous

Princess Grace would never have shown her boobs like that!! And why do women wear clothes that match their skin?? It is just unattractive and makes the wearer disappear.

  • http://profiles.google.com/ballinger.jl Jessica Ballinger

His sleeves are too long again, though, right?

  • Anonymous

She seemed pretty happy in that Versace dress, though…

  • Anonymous

Okay, I can’t get past the tit fit of the dress. That style exists only to grant the illusion of boobs to those who seek it. As the bearer of actual boobs she belongs in a grownup dress. And since we’re being petty, it’s time for her to get a new manicurist who isn’t colorblind and/or spiteful.

    Hair’s good though.

    • http://beautyforrealgirls.blogspot.com/ accidental housewife

Totally agree on the nails. Actually, I hate her entire look. She looks matronly from head to toe. There’s a lot of space between “hooker” and “dowager”. She needs to find the right point on the scale.

George is George, which I think I said in the last post too. But he needs a tie.

  • Anonymous

Her hair is my favorite thing about the picture.. (Well, except for those adorable crinkles at the corners of Mr. Clooney’s eyes, that are mysteriously more adorable than most eye corner crinkles.)

I sometimes long for the kind of artifice that looks like lovely and intentional artifice rather than the artifice that serves to create “just a casual, natural look,” except that no living person ever casually and naturally looked so casually and naturally perfect.

  • Anonymous

She’s looking much much better here. Look at that smile. It’s like she knows being seen with him for any length of time will boost her career. They seem like such an odd couple. He looks like his usual fine self.

  • Anonymous

8.5 for George?  No way, the fit of that jacket is off.  In general, he buys clothes that are too big for him.  Or he is shrinking.

  • http://twitter.com/DarthJaeda Jaeda Laurez

Hate this look- definitely prefer the other one. THAT dress looked like her dress; this dress looks like something her rich boyfriend paid her to wear to “class it up.” And that hair is type awful.

  • Anonymous

Classed up but weirdly also declasse in terms of what is going on with the boobs/bust.

  • Anonymous

LOVE that hairstyle! Different than I’ve seen on the red carpet lately, almost a retro 30s Ginger Rogers-esque style, but softer. Feminine and lovely.

  • Anonymous

She would break this little fella in TWO

  • Anonymous

I hate that hair with a passion.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Michael-Cannon/1444597665 Michael Cannon

she seems excited, George has his usual jaded “looky what I got here” thing goin’ on”.

  • Anonymous

I think they look odd together. Either her head is the size of a peanut, or his head is the size of a cake pan.

  • Anonymous

Are you sure you’re not confusing Princess Grace with Princess Charlene? Bodice too tight, tits hanging out, not too regal.

  • http://twitter.com/aStudiobytheSea Jody Lee

I’m ignoring George, since I don’t find him interesting.  I don’t like her whole look in this.  It’s just so Lawrence Welk.

  • Susan Crawford

A big improvement for her. She really IS a very attractive gal, as I always suspected, but whenever she stepped out she always seemed to be in the grips of her addiction to skimp, sparkle and boobage. Thanks, George, for introducing her to a decent stylist – it really paid off. Like T and Lo, I can’t say I’m a fan of the color of the dress. Just a little skosh more pink or a tad bit more taupe and it would have been more flattering to her skin-tone. LOVE the hair! After months of seeing red carpet pictures of gals who apparently went on a long hike in Benedict Canyon and forgot to have a comb-out , it is just wonderful to see a sleek, well-styled look.

  • Anonymous

holy mackeral. the former wrestling star and Ravens cheerleader is with Clooney? she got beat with the lucky stick for sure.

  • Anonymous

At first glance I thought she was topless

  • Anonymous

she puts on a gown and he can’t bother with a tie?
