Ladies, brace yourselves. You’re about to drop an egg or two.

Isn’t it cute how they can’t keep their hands off each other? Go ahead, boys. Make out for the cameras.

Starting from the left:

HE: Looks —

Oh, to hell with it. They both look amazing. Combined Score: 9.5/10. Should’ve gotten your hands out of your pockets, guys. We would have given you a perfect score if you had. Granted, we can sympathize with your apparent need to touch yourselves in the presence of each other. We’re pretty sure there are some Bitter Kittens touching themselves right now.

      I’m first!….Dreamy…

Look at those expressions on pic 2 and the way they are connected. They are like pleased as punch dogs….sexy dogs!

        • Anonymous

Makes you wonder where Clooney’s right hand is, and what it’s doing.

          • Anonymous

totally…I see a big ass squeeze in my mind’s eye right now and i’m loving it.

    • Anonymous

you’re probably right…lol…sadly I can’t comment on that last part since I’m at work :p

    • Sobaika Mirza

Dear Mr. Gosling: Please do naughty things to me.

PS: You dress well, keep it up.

    • http://featurezoo.net memorexe

Ha! It’s true, they are glowing  around each other. Love their body language.

      Oh, yes! That was fantastic!

Fans herself…thanks for the procrastination.  ;) My endocrinology lecture for next week can wait!

      holy suffering shit!
      I. am. speechless.

I too am struggling with words. My first reaction was pretty much just WOOF! I’ll take one of each.

        • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

And don’t bother to wrap them.  Just give me a spoon.

    • Anonymous

GC is divine. I don’t get RG’s appeal. He looks very ordinary to me. And that shiny green suit with the matchy tie. Ew. How come that awful Countess Mara/Gentlemen’s Wearhouse tie didn’t get points off, Mr and Mr Say No to Matchy Shoes?

      • http://www.tomandorenzo.com Tom and Lorenzo

Do we need to explain that a tie is not a pair of shoes?

      • http://twitter.com/bredalot Breda Smith

I actually love the tie, for no reason I can articulate. But also, I didn’t get the Ryan Gosling love until I saw Drive: by the end of that movie I was simultaneously completely in love with him (some of his facial expressions brought me to tears) and completely terrified of him. Fantastic performance.

        • Jennifer Jacobsen-Wood

I didn’t get RG either, until I saw him in that movie with Steve Carrell, something about love? Now I’m curious about “Drive.” It doesn’t appear to be my type of movie, but I’m considering it anyway.

          • http://profiles.google.com/valencia.lucia87 Lucía Valencia

I fell in love with him in that movie too! I thinks it’s “Crazy stupid love”… I think. And jzzy55: YOU CRAZY!

            • Anonymous

I must be perverse because I fell in love with him when I saw “Lars and the Real Girl”.

            • Anonymous

A true Goslette has seen all three films and has dedicated an entire Pinterest board to him.

      • Anonymous

RG’s cute enough, but all that green isn’t working for me, either.

      • Anonymous

        I don’t get RG’s appeal either.

        • Anonymous

Me neither! Now, George…that’s a whole ‘nutha story! They both look yumms.

          • http://beautyforrealgirls.blogspot.com/ accidental housewife

What? Is there someone in the photos besides George Clooney?

I don’t get Gosling’s appeal either, but I’ve never seen him in a movie. I’m told he lights up the screen. I do want to see Drive, so if I can drag my lazy ass to a theater, maybe next time around I’ll be swooning over him. As for now, he’s chopped liver compared to Clooney.

            • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_2CNDPMVO4W23R5TVC2QMTJ5BZE Heather

Agree re Gosling – I can respectfully see why he would appeal to others  – but for my taste he’s a bit too Ken Cosgrove. Clooney, on the other hand, oh my!! BTW my own awesome boyfriend has his coloring – dark eyes, silvering hair and olive skin – I am the luckiest!

    • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

Ryan to George:  Cute isn’t it, how everyone thinks we’re both all straight and stuff.
George to Ryan:  I know!  BTW honey, don’t forget we have to pick up our opera tickets.

    • Amanda in Austin

Oh my goodness gracious.  What a fantastic way to start my day.

    • http://twitter.com/ILikeShiny Cindi Williams

I’m just a teensy bit embarrassed to be squealing over these pics like I’m reading Tiger Beat.

      • Anonymous

haha, Tiger Beat. Got any Sean Cassidy posters? :)

I’ll see your Sean Cassidy and raise you a Donny Osmond.

What no Bobby Sherman?  Thanks TLo for starting off my day in such a fabulous way.   Sigh

      • Anonymous

I was just thinking the same thing – I had a Donny Osmond, David Cassidy, Bobby Sherman moment!

          Oh you kids ;-p

          Paul McCartney and Bobby Vinton

Shouldn’t there be a Tiger Beat for grown-ups, with men over 30 in it?  It would just be called “RAWR”

Mmmmm……I love Ryan. He is so cute in green.

I think those two could do more for the menswear industry than any two humans on earth!!
Growing up in an Army family… Ryan reminds me of my dad in his crisp Class A’s, way back in the day.  My dad could make a uniform look like a million bucks… says a very proud daughter!!

    • Anonymous

George Clooney – yum!  He just gets hotter and hotter.  Movie looks good, too.

      • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

Oh was this about a movie?

        • Jennifer Jacobsen-Wood

“Ides of March.”  Looks pretty good.

        • Anonymous

          I know. What movie?

    • Anonymous

Am I too old fashioned that I need a belt on those suits?

      • Anonymous

No! You aren’t. Or, we’re old fashioned together.

    • http://twitter.com/DarthJaeda Jaeda Laurez

Ryan Gosling wasn’t even attractive to me until I saw him in that Steve Carell movie (him and his delicious, delicious golden thighs…mmmmmmmmm), but both he and George look fabulous here.

      • scottyf

You too? He was totally off my radar until Crazy Stupid Love. It doesn’t hurt that there is a damn fine actor to go along with that body. I love the line the young lady says to him when he takes off his shirt: “Seriously?! It’s like you’re Photoshopped!”

Now you must excuse me, I’m off to have unbridled man sex with George Clooney in my mind.

        • http://twitter.com/ILikeShiny Cindi Williams

I usually prefer unbridled enthusiasm, but unbridled man sex works too!

          • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

            • http://twitter.com/ILikeShiny Cindi Williams

I guess I should have specified…I use the phrase “unbridled enthusiasm” a lot. Unbridled man sex I’ve only witnessed in Eastern European porn (apparently they like to do it outside while wearing hiking boots)..

            • scottyf

              I got it. :-)

“apparently they like to do it outside while wearing hiking boots”

              …and a krakuska.

To quote TLo: “Unbridled man sex” will be the name of my band and “George Clooney in my mind” will be my first single.

    • aussiegal77

Oh good heavens above that was delicious. Thank YOU, TLo! And thank YOU, Ryan and George.

    • Anonymous

      Careful, guys.  I’m ovulating.  :)

    • Anonymous

I have never liked the dark suit with the dark shirt until now.  He looks handsome and impeccable.  The green outfit, on the other hand, is not so good.  He looks like Tinkerbell’s boyfriend.

    • http://profiles.google.com/sara.e.munoz Sara Munoz

      Ryan! What a smile.

    • Anonymous

It looks like Ryan’s fly might be partially open.  Not that I’m staring at that area or anything …

      • D Devious

Yep, that’s an XYZPDQ if I’ve ever seen one.

    • Anonymous

but why do Ryan’s slacks look wrinkled? is it just the lighting? the effect of his hands in his pockets? And I hate the hands in the pockets. Come on, guys!

I have to admit, I didn’t even look at the clothes.

Raciest post EVER. Modern, gay, fashion version of Mills & Boon.

I think you could get pregnant just by looking at those guys.

      • Anonymous

I don’t know, I never think about “dropping eggs” or getting pregnant when I look at someone like George Clooney. That’s about the last thing I think of, to tell you the truth.

        • Anonymous

Oh, believe me, I’m not thinking babies at all. It’s just that looking at these two is so potent, it may induce an ovular Pavlov effect.

        • Anonymous

I could be weird, but I never feel much buzz for the usual matinee idols, not even as a teenager. Then again, my Beatle was George. I find that most matinee idols (including Cary Grant) give off gay vibes that dampen any possible girl-hetero lust. My current exceptions are Clive Owen, and too a lesser extent, Jon Hamm. THey look like they might actually smell sweaty, throw beer cans at baseball games on TV, and forget to change their underwear. RG and GC (here) look shaved and powdered and odor-free.

          • scottyf

So, it sounds like you equate heterosexuality with sweat and stereotypical “male” behaviors and activities, and male homosexuality with being “powdered and odor-free”?

Funny, I don’t know if you get any of the ads on this site for gay products, but if you do, I can pretty much guarantee that they never show powdered and odor-free guys. Usually they are sweaty and muscular and sitting on a weight bench at the gym. THAT’S what attracts a lot of men to each other: the “maleness”–which has very little to do with whether he’s recently been man-scaped or wearing an Armani suit.

As for the baseball game, does hurling Coors cans at the ‘Skins for allowing the 3rd and 21 conversion by the Cowboys on Monday night count? ‘Cause this card carrying Queen did that too–cussing the whole time. Stereotypes can be dangerous.

As for the not changing the underwear thing? That’s just nasty, gay or straight.

            • http://profiles.google.com/valencia.lucia87 Lucía Valencia

              Amen to you Sir, amen.

            • http://twitter.com/ILikeShiny Cindi Williams

Oh good. I’m glad I’m not the only TLo reader who has issues when Thursday Night Football competes with Project Runway. As for Monday’s game, I was more pissed Tim Hightower didn’t get me shit for points in FFL this week.
I knew there was a reason your posts are my favorite. ;-)

    • Judy_J

Maybe it’s just wishful thinking on my part, but it appears Ryan’s fly is a wee bit open in that next to the last photo.  Both of these men are hotter than hot.  George Clooney just gets better and better looking.  He’s definitely my generation’s Cary Grant.

      • Annie Leung

It’s not just wishful thinking, I see it too! Unless we’re on the same wavelength of wishful thinking here but seriously, these men are gorgeous.

    • Anonymous

They are both beautiful.  Thank you!

    • Anonymous

      Drool!!!

    • Anonymous

I agree, they both look sharp and well put together…also agree about HIPs (hands in pockets ;))  Stop that.

The monochromatic look of Clooney is safe and tired though. Gosling, all monochromatic in green, is unexpected (perhaps a bit too much green?)  I rather like it though….especially like his tie.

    • victoria rodeno

      Big sigh. MMMMMMM

    • Anonymous

Gosling does not populate my self-touching world; too blandly pretty. I do enjoy watching his fashion, though.

Clooney, OTOH…I’ll be in my bunk.

Clooney REALLY knows how to wear a suit. Hot-hot-hot

    • Anonymous

Sorry all!..just throw some eggs at me……While I think Gosling in dreamy, his suit looks ill fitting and wrinkled…Clooney is definitely a 10.

    • Joanna Schuth

I have to make the obligatory comment about wishing to be the meat in that sandwich. Unf.

    • aimee_parrott

Whoo… is it getting warm in here?  And by “here” I mean, inside my clothes?  That is too much hotness to handle.  Clooney is just ridiculous, he keeps getting better looking the older he gets.  And Gosling is dreamy.

      Color me happy.

    • Terry Weyna

I’ll take one of each, please.

    • Anonymous

Anyone who wants Ryan Gosling can have him.  Just leave me all the Clooney.  (Returns to licking computer monitor and weeping quietly)

    • http://korilian.livejournal.com/ korilian

Meh. Clooney was always to smarmy for my taste (though I do think he makes an awesome human being) and I had to google the other guy. They do look snazzily dressed though.

    • Anonymous

Ryan Gosling soooooooooooooooooooo hot, I can’t take it. I need him. I am so speechless. Oh and that last picture totally confirmed GC is gay.

    • Anonymous

Gosling needs to rock that striped suit you featured the other day*. He would look fabulous in it!

Handsome men in great suits is always a good thing. These two don’t really do it for me, in the egg-dropping sense, but they seem like cool guys.

Mickey Mouse Club’s 1990s legacy continues. I have to say, Ryan Gosling does seem squeaky clean and fresh in photos — it really was only recently I realized he’s the same gritty guy from Stay.

I love that green suit and how it brings out RG’s eyes. I don’t normally go for the blondes, but he is such a fine exception. I also love him as an actor so that’s even better.
GC just gets better with age, like wine.

True story: I though this feature of the site was called the Paris Division until today, when I looked closer at the title. I thought you were being cheeky with the title and that I just didn’t get the reference. Now, though, all I can think of them as is Paris Division posts.

I dislike dark shirts with dark suits.  I guess we can be glad he didn’t wear a white tie, though!

Honestly?  I don’t get the excitement over these.  A couple of decent looking guys, dressed appropriately, but nothing to write home about.

    • Anonymous

George Clooney: catnip to this kitten.  AND he’s intelligent and committed to really important causes — see his work with Nicholas Kristoff of The New York Times in Africa, where contracted malaria in the process.  Yes, the Cary Grant for my generation, but with a lot more substance, which is always in style.

    • Anonymous

Ryan drags it down a bit. 2-3 day growth thing & a little rumpled (though hands out of pockets would have improved.)

George, oh, Mr. Clooney, you shaved for us!  I hope younger men are taking notes. He’s so traditional in his style, and he’s aging a bit, and he still mows down the competition. Just effing mows it down. (And he is not & never has been my type, but his power of attraction is uncanny.)

Ryan: 9.0 (& .25 of that might be reflected glory)

      George: 9.75.

      combined score: 9.375

    • Anonymous

Oooh, that’s a whole lotta handsome in one place!

    • Anonymous

Well, what a lunch break bit of wonderfulness, this is. Ditto to all the salivation over these two (and I DO get RG’s appeal. For me his intelligence and talent are part of the package).

In addition to my hormonal reaction, I had two thoughts: 1) George Clooney really is our generation’s Cary Grant (looks wise, we’ll let him keep his bedroom habits secret).
and 2) I know this is shilling the Ides of March film, but it seems like George is doing the December-May thing with his male co-stars. 10 years ago it was Matt Damon and Brad Pitt. Now? Ryan Gosling. I wonder what the PR/George CLooney image value is by pairing him up with younger women AND men.

    • Anonymous

      sigh……GC is my Hollywood husband….

Love seeing someone bust out the olive green suit.  Can’t say I like the skinny cut of the pants, and that fabric can’t help but be a wrinkled mess within minutes of putting it on, but major points for the green.

Was is Ebert or Siskel who had the “Big Head Theory”?  That all major celebrities have heads that are disproportionately large.  Look at the head on Ryan Gosling!  That is one big melon!

I met Little Richard once.  He had a head the size of a TV.

      • Anonymous

You know, that really is true, especially of women. You’ll really notice it if you start looking for it……

It is true, or maybe it’s disproportionately small bodies on most of the women. But the camera angles on red carpets don’t help.

Please!  I read “Pairs Division: Gosling and Clooney” and touched myself right then.  And again when I actually looked at the pics.  In real life, neither of these two are my ideal man (George closer than Ryan becasue he is older, grayer and a little beefier) but oh my, they are handsome men.

    • Alyssa Stanfield

OMFG…more of this please! Ryan Gosling…yum! He is rocking that green suit!

I think I must be hormonally deficient or something but neither of those men does a THING for me.

Particularly Ryan Gosling, who looks like a blond Alan Cumming in the second picture down, with neither the great sense of humour nor the fabulous dress sense.

      • http://karensbooksandchocolate.blogspot.com/ Karenlibrarian

Alan Cumming, adorable!  He is the reason I watch The Good Wife.  Gosling DOES look a blond Alan.  Those men don’t make me swoon but Ryan is a great actor.  Blue Valentine just broke my heart.

            LOL oh I don’t know….
I haven’t seen The Good Wife, if I’d known he was in it I might’ve watched it. I find it hard to take him seriously in recent things as he’ll always be Sebastian Flight from the High Life for me :D

            • Anonymous

We started watching season 1 the Good Wife about a month ago because people raved so much and AC was in it.  We are now nearly all caught up.  It is a FABULOUS show and Alan Cumming is superb in it.  Get season 1 IMMEDIATELY.

Ditto. A thousand times, DiTTO! Actually, I’ve have exactly the opposite reaction to Clooney, that most women seem to have, since day one. I always feel the need to fumigate, after being confronted by the smug air he manages to exude through my monitor.
Gosling at least strikes me as having a quirky personality, despite the extremely tight and wrinkled suit he is wearing. He looks like he crashed in the back of the limo on the way to the premiere. Gosling, however, does not have the striking and memorable features that make Alan Cumming ever so eye-catching.

      That green suit is wonderful.

And for those of you who didn’t know who Ryan Gosling was, please rent both Blue Valentine and Lars & the Real Girl. Immediately. Thank you. :-)

      • Anonymous

Lars & the Real Girl is one of my favorites! Well said. He is fantastic.

    • Anonymous

Ryan has always been a good looking guy but he usually doesn’t do it for me. He really looks amazing here, though. Wow. And George looks great as ever. Now, if they’d just actually make out …

      I just…I can’t…I don’t even…SWOON.

    • Jessica O’Connell

LOVE Ryan Gosling’s olive suit and tie. They both look fantastic.

    • http://cheekypinky.wordpress.com/ Rebecca

      Green suit???

      YES, PLEASE.

It works because it’s a muted tone–it doesn’t read as flashy or Elton-John-y.

      Keep werqing it, gentlemens!

    • http://twitter.com/karenrubyleo Karen

This is what all men should look like. yes please.

can’t say I ever went nuts over either of them but George is looking finer as he ages…

Oh, yes Daddy shows  his future son in law his play area.  What I meant to say is Ryan really tall and George really short?

    • Anonymous

Personally, I don’t see what is so great about Ryan Gosling and standing him next to George Clooney just reinforces that.  Gosling just seems bland and boring to look at.  I don’t like that green suit either.  Now, George Clooney, there is a handsome man who is aging very well.

    • Anonymous

THAT is how you do a black shirt-no tie look.  TO DIE!

    • Anonymous

Looking stylish and delish boys. There’s just nothing more to say except “thank you TLo!”

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_Z3MD2KJCFAPQJTYHVT5GBHCCXQ RachelB

Why is Cloony so orange? I don’t understand…

    • Anonymous

WELL!  Didn’t that just make an otherwise ordinary day into a very pleasant one!

    • Anonymous

      Yum :)

It surprises me that Clooney has stayed quite unique in his niche. Most actors fall into either pretty boy or action man categories. Very few manage old-fashioned masculinity without straying into pumped up macho zone. And, he lets himself age (so far), face lifts and botox kill any mans sex appeal stone dead.

I would actually knock it down to a 9 for Ryan’s bad dye job and George’s lack of a tie – he always goes sans tie, it’d be nice to see him switch it up and actually wear one.

Actually, tbh it’s a 1 for them not actually making out with each other for the cameras, dammit. Ah, well, thank god TV hasn’t ruined my ability to imagine completely yet.

I really love both of the suits, and the men in them. But…why are you both incapable of fully buttoning your suits?

      • Anonymous

Because that’s one of those fashion rules.  Never button the bottom button.  Even if you look like an idiot.

I hypothesize that the rule came about because so many men couldn’t remember to unbutton it when they sit down (which strains the button fastening) and started leaving it unbuttoned all the time to make life easier for them.

      gosling in that green. *s(aaaah…)woon*

    • Anonymous

i’d bet my last dollar that GEORGE drew the ‘stache on his own image (as seen in ms. tomei’s post).

    • Anonymous

That tie/suit combo on Ryan is gorgeous.

    • Anonymous

Ryan looks like Alan Cumming in that smiling photo.

    • Anonymous

So George is a chicken queen, hmm? That actually explains a lot of things. Who needs HRT  when there are pictures like this to stimulate estrogen production??? Such dreamboats!

    • Lisa

They both look amazing.  Yeah, I popped an ovary, no argument.

    • Anonymous

Fort of all, I am dying to see this movie (hi, my favorite tv show of all time is The West Wing). Also, I looove this dandy route Ryan’s been going down lately, and I think this is a smart way to stay in that wheelhouse while toning it down a little. Finally, I usually get nothing out of looking at George Clooney, but these pictures are definitely an exception!

    • elzatelzabelz

DAYUM. That is the best promo for a film I’ve ever seen. Sign me up. Doesn’t it look like George is all “I’ve been waiting years to hand off the title of “Hollywood’s Hottest Bachelor.” Who would have thought it would be you? But, here you are, Ryan. Well earned.” Also, I need a martini. Or an olive. Or a man in an olive suit…

Sorry but i really can’t get behind all that green or all that shiny. Cute tie though but where’s the belt? SMH He’s not mansex material to me so he gets a 7 just coz the fit is nice and he’s trying something different.

Ha! Apparently it was Ryan Gosling who drew the mustache:

I want to be sandwiched between the two of them.

    • http://twitter.com/Merneith Merneith

I like the green suit. That said, while Gosling’s good looking, it’s pretty clear that there’s only one Movie Star in those pics and he doesn’t have to wear a green suit to stand out.

    • Wrenaria

WOW they both look amazing.  Yum. Looove that green suit.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_66KPZ36LMHMRQOX3HIJGHRNNUA MandyM

Ryan looked great until he stood next to George Clooney. Swoon.

    • lilibetp

Meh.  The clothes look good, but neither of these guys do anything for me.

Here’s an eye-candy group I’d like to see together:  Liam Neeson, Sean Bean, and Silas Carson.
