Evan brought some Old Hollywood glam (with a little Nu Hollywood androgyny) to the Venice Film Festival and we haven’t finished swooning yet.

Is this bitch freaking fabulous or what?
In case you couldn’t tell, we LOVE this look. Pitch perfect. It’s rare for bitches like us to accept a look, head to toe, with no reservations or complaints. Even when we shout out a “WERQ, girl!” there’s usually at least one minor criticism. We’re professional bitches; what can we say? But this is so right in every way that we can’t hide how impressed we are. Someone really knew what they were doing when they put this look together. Every single element of the look, from the hair and makeup to the shoes and jewelry, serves to enhance and complement that gorgeous dress. Not one element seems out of place and none of the elements are fighting with each other. It’s like a perfect aesthetic moment. Let’s all sigh and stare.
We admit, if the top of that dress was a blouse, we’d probably not like it as much. But put that dramatic, windblown skirt on the bottom and the henley collar and lace insets don’t bother us a bit (two elements we’re iffy about, at best, under normal circumstances). She doesn’t just look good to us; she looks perfect.

OUT! Too plain for my tastes.
Yesterday’s Bitchfest Results:
Charlie Hunnam’s “I’m an English Prof and I’m Okay” getup got an OUT (but it was agreed that he’s still cute).
Marisa Tomei’s geometric grandma dress (according to some of you) was fiercely debated until the wee hours of the morning and the vote finally came down on the side of OUT.
