2011 Emmy Awards Red Carpet – Part 2

Posted on September 19, 2011

We’re on our third cup of coffee and we’re feeling the MOMENTUM, bitches! Get out of our way!

Anna Faris

Blondes in shimmery golds don’t always work, but we love this on her. The pattern really makes it.

Anna Torv in Vera Wang

She’s gorgeous and it’s mostly a great look. Could have done without the flamenco hem. And we figure one pop of color -either the shoes or the earrings – was enough. We’re leaning towards keeping the earrings with a neutral shoe in black or silver.

Bonnie Bentley

Kudos to her for wearing something a little fresh and interesting.

Cara Buono in Donna Karan

Lorenzo loved it but Tom thinks it would have worked better without that trailing sash.

Emily Blunt in Elie Saab

Beautiful. Love that midnight blue on her.

Jayma Mays in Zuhair Murad

While the rest of the Glee girls went too mature in their styling, Jayma headed straight back to her 5th birthday party. We don’t love the dress or the color on her.

Michelle Dockery

We LOVE this dress on her, but she pretty much ruined it with half-assed styling. Better hair, makeup and earrings would have nailed the look.

Julie Bowen in Oscar de la Renta

Great dress; too long on her. We would have recommended softer hair.

Jurnee Smollett

Simple, but pretty. Great color for her.

Kaley Cuoco in Romona Keveza

It’s a cute dress that suits her but the shoes look a bit heavy and we don’t like the perfectly matched clutch. Switch it up a little.

Kelly Macdonald

She’s gone all Kate Winslet on us. It’s a decent dress, but that plus the styling doesn’t really suit her version of low-key, fresh pretty.

Kelly Osbourne in J. Mendel

We didn’t love this look on camera. Too much skin on top for a TV host and the whole effect is a little drag queen. She looks better when she tones it down.

Lea Michele in Marchesa

It’s simple but it’s gorgeous. Love the shoulder details.

Loretta Devine

Fantastic color and a great shape, but we hate the sleeves and SHE NEEDS TO WEAR A BRA.

Michele Forbes in Romona Keveza

Very pretty. Sometimes simplicity is a gal’s best friend.

Annie Ilonzeh in Romona Keveza, Minka Kelly in Christian Dior, and Rachel Taylor in Giorgio Armani

Purple angel looks like sex on a stick, blue Angel is wearing the most fashion-y dress but it’s a bit low-key for photographs, white Angel looks washed out.

Mireille Enos

It’s the 2011 Emmy’s Official Ladies Uniform, but we can’t blame her for going this route after an entire season in lumpy sweaters and no makeup.

Paula Abdul

Why is her bust facing front while the rest of her is turned to the side? It’s freaking us out.

Paz de la Huerta

Honey, if you keep making perfectly fine dresses look trashy by posing like a stripper and wearing 40 pounds of muddy brown makeup on your face, no one’s going to lend you dresses anymore.

Rashida Jones in Alberta Ferretti

Standard. Could have used a little pop of color somewhere. Hate the hair.

I began to think, as I was scrolling through these images, “Wow, everyone looks pretty darned good, a minor point here and there, otherwise, great!”

      Then I saw Paz.
      oh dear lord.

Just makes me sad to see someone who can potentially be so lovely trying much too hard in every respect.  Doesn’t she have anyone to show her the ropes?

Paz could be truly stunning, with the help of a few good gays.

        dear lord to the nth.
I get this vibe paz is in a D/s relationship (s, of course) and has been told to look slutty and messed up in public.  honey, you’re taking it a bit toooooo far.  (but maybe Daddy is very happy with her, which would be what counts)

        • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

I so want to give her the chance to make it work somehow.  She keeps making these crazy decisions that get her dissed massively.  Its sad to watch, really.

          • http://beautyforrealgirls.blogspot.com/ accidental housewife

It seems like one of her crazy decisions is to never take off her make-up, but just keeps piling it on day after day. All I know about her is what I see here, so I have no idea if she has any talent. But she is a hot mess. She looks like a drug addict who’s hit bottom but is still going. (Is that inappropriate to say?)

I love her dress, though. She looks pretty damn great in it. She gives it a punkish sensibility, and I mean that in a good way.

            • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

It is a gorgeous dress, though its not a great color for her with the skin tone she has chosen.  I only wish that she had refrained from intentionally lifting the skirt aside.

In which case Daddy would be trying to kill her career. She does make a good, though toned down example, of public disgrace. However, this would make a fine idea for some erotica, if only I had the time.

Ya know I was gonna comment that Emily Blount’s gown looks like she’s molting, and on Kelly McDonald’s makeup: apparently a trial run for her Halloween costume as a Kardashian cousin.

But Paz sucked all the air out of any other complaint. Girls, all is forgiven, and thank you for showering before you got on the red carpet.

Rashida Jones’ makeup looks like the Joker, too bad because she’s so pretty and hilarious.

I was thinking the same thing! Something about the photo makes her mouth look long, and that lipstick is accentuating it in a bad way. I actually thought the hair was a good look, though. Granted, it looks like she did it herself in the limo instead of having a hair stylist take care of it, but still, good intentions count, right?

Paz always looks filthy.  Clean her up and you might find something attractive under there, but until then ick, just ick.  Anna Faris’ dress is absolutely stunningly gorgeous, I love everything about it.  But what happened to her hair?  Stringy, fried blond straw, too flat on top, no style at all.  She looks like she worked up a sweat at the gym before the show and ran out of time.

      • Anonymous

Paz always looks like she’d be sticky to the touch.

    • Anonymous

In agreement with T Lo on all these, and with Tom on Cara Buono. I thought she was holding a long silver wrap at first.

Paz’s lipstick made me gasp. Loudly.

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jude-Brown/1350939326 Jude Brown

Putty shoe color on lips: not attractive on anyone.

But combine it with dinner-theater Pochahantas body makeup, and it’s a FEMA-level disaster.

    • Anonymous

Oh, Paz….. seriously, get some help for whatever is ailing you.  You make me sad.  Julie owen had a stunning dress but you are right, softer, bigger hair would have suited her.  LOVE that dress of Anna Faris, who is the designer?

    • http://twitter.com/bredalot Breda Smith

That’s Michelle Dockery, not Jessica Brown-Findlay. But yeah, the dress is gorgeous on her. She’s got that kind of lovely, old-fashioned face that can disappear if not dressed correctly, so she looks stunning on the show but often ordinary in real life. This is perfect.

Love Kaley Cuoco’s, too. She frequently messes up, but this is adorable and suits her really well.

Is . . . is she wearing GREY lipstick?  Paz, you are a crazy person and I love you. She needs to stop bothering with the pretty dresses and keep the schizo makeup.  I think she might be an alien.

Julie Bowen looks great in this pic, but on screen . . . Yeesh.  I believe one of my twitter friends referred to her as “Skeletor’s breast plate.”  Way too skinny.

      • Anonymous

I wouldn’t say Julie Bowen’s too skinny, but the cut of that dress highlights her bony ribcage. If that’s the look you want, fine, but personally I wouldn’t consider a protruding sternum an asset to be accentuated. In the same way one plays down one’s hips if they’re fuller, one ought to cover up one’s skeleton if it’s that visible. It’s a shame, because I think Julie Bowen is absolutely knock-down gorgeous.

        • Anonymous

Good call, and I do agree.  She is drop dead gorgeous.

Explain to me why Paz looks like she was asphyxiated with a plastic bag and then found floating in a river. Is there actually a stylist out there that suggested that look? I hope so. Because Paz is just the person to go “Let’s do this.”

Paz looks so tragic.  Why is she wearing putty colored lipstick?  Why does she have clip-on bangs?  Why does she want to kill her career by being freakier than Mickey Rourke when he thought he was a boxer?  Why Paz?  Why?

Michelle Forbes is such a force of nature that she should never distract from her innate awesomeness.

Julie Bowen’s rib-cage non-cleavage cleavage freaked me out. She is so d*mn skinny, I am pretty sure we saw her lungs when she made her speech. Seriously……She does not look healthy AT ALL.

      • http://beautyforrealgirls.blogspot.com/ accidental housewife

I don’t remember her being this thin when she was on Ed. I really don’t get it. She’s not a dumbass little starlet. She’s 41 years old and should know better. Plus she’s gorgeous and talented. (I love her despite the fact that I despised Carol Vessey and am not always fond of Claire Dunphy.) It makes me sad to see her and pissed off that she’s fallen for such Hollywood bullshit.

I don’t care, I know this isn’t a popular opinion, but I don’t care. My confession is: I love Lea Michele and every type of ridiculous she chooses to be. I liked her well enough, and defended her a lot because I find the absolute vitriol directed against her for what I see as minor offenses a bit discomfiting. But when she went out yesterday after days of people publicly (and admittedly justifiably so in some cases) mocking her red carpet posing, and did every ridiculous, hilarious, amazing pose anyways, I fell in love, and I just don’t regret it.

Her dress was great and simple and chic and a welcome departure from the big heavy dresses she normally favors. In some pics her bust line was a bit wonky and could have been more fitted as she’s not particularly busty, but that back was effortless and the shoulder’s were great, her hair look’s amazing as always, and her makeup was great. She looked her age and totally appropriate, and the rest of the Glee girls could have used some tips from her after the disaster some of them were last night.

Annie Ilonzeh in Romona Keveza was also a great look and well accessorized. I don’t think the dress. or the entire look, the extremely gorgeous in person Minka Kelly chose did her any favors. It was fine, but I was expecting more.

I didn’t know about the whole posing thing until I read the Fug Girls this morning. The whole thing is hilarious no matter which way you look at it.

The dress could have fit her better in the bust, but it was a great colour on her and I covet her shiny, shiny hair.

Why oh why were so many make-up guns set to “Whore” last night?

Also, someone on the previous post called Christina Hendricks their “red carpet kryptonite” – I think Emily Blunt is mine. I do not get why she’s considered someone to emulate. She always looks too tan, her hair (too messy) and face (too shiny) don’t look particularly fab in this picture, and I don’t really care for the dress, although I will admit it fits her perfectly. Think I’m just going to have to accept I have a blind spot when it comes to her from now on.

      • http://beautyforrealgirls.blogspot.com/ accidental housewife

I wrote a rather scathing comment about Claire Danes in the previous post. I guess she’s my red carpet kryptonite. And I can’t argue with you about Emily Blunt. I don’t get it either. Maybe it’s left over good will from “The Devil Wears Prada”.

Paz…oh, Paz.  I get the feeling she never washes her face, just applies more makeup on top of the old stuff.  And her hair looks like rats are nesting in it.  I fear for her, I really do.

Cara Buono  the seaming and the sheen are doing odd things in that pic – it is like her right leg was amputated at the hip?

Julie looks okay here, but when I saw her on stage it looks like her breasts were like 4 to 6 inches too low?

Kaley looks great (yes the shoes are a bit much – but I can’t fault a girl for wanting to wear shiny red shoes)

      Kelly O looks good

THANK YOU for the Loretta Devine bra comment.  I feel validated.  When I saw this on TV last night, that’s the first thing I said to my husband.  Whatever stylist told her she could go without a bra should be fired and then strung up by his/her toenails.

      • Anonymous

I had the same reaction on PR with the real woman challenge.  Tim said something about not ALWAYS having to wear a bra.  Um…yea, you do.  Maybe an A-cup can get away with it sometimes, but any bigger than that should have one.

      Julie Bowen must begin eating…seriously…

    • Anonymous

Weird. It’s like Paula’s dress is trying to run away from her. Paz looks seriously deranged. She must have a restraining order hidden in that dress somewhere.

Oh I think Jayma looks great! True, it’s not the most mature look, but girl is having fun!

    • Jenna Gordon

what the hell is wrong with paz? i don’t actually know who she is or what she does but i can only image that the make up is a requirement. why would any one in their right mind wear that much foundation in the wrong color?

Paz de la Huerta is going to be this year’s greatest Halloween costume.

Julie Bowen looks better in still photos than she did on stage.  Moving in that dress made her chest look gross.  It was too scary thin.  She should have covered up, or eat a few cheeseburgers.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=167100010 Meghan Young

One small bone to pick: I agree, if she’s hosting, the look needs to work on screen… but look at that picture. Kelly Osbourne looks fucking amazing. And you know what? She also looks bloody happy, which is more than we can say for most of these women. It’s over the top, drag queen territory… but lord knows someone needs to do it. If not at the Emmys, then when? I love it.

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_OSYAJATXUH3QX7ZDDF52GXG4PU Janie R

I agree!!She’s young and looks like she’s having fun dammit! When I saw a pic yesterday I though TLo would for sure do a Werq on this. I feel so happy looking at her now knowing what she’s come from.

        • http://beautyforrealgirls.blogspot.com/ accidental housewife

I know. Besides looking fabulous, Kelly seems like she’s having the time of her life. And good for her. Girl’s been through some crap, hasn’t she?

          • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_EDI2DLE7DE3YPW2ONIHBWOVHMA ecallaw

I couldn’t agree more!  I thought she was fairly obnoxious back in “The Osbournes” days, but for Pete’s sake, what teenager isn’t? I think she is so refreshing and seems to have a really great personality. And she looks FABULOUS here.  WERQ it, Kelly!

Michelle Forbes looks fantastic!  She has such tight bone structure that she tends to look severe but this is awesome.

Lea Michele looks like she has football pads on – horrible!  Those shoulders looked like they were going to eat her head any second.

I don’t like the sleeves on Michelle Dockery’s dress, but I do like the bodice, fit and color.  Her hair is a bit, well, ugly.

The Charlies Angels should have had a banner around the three of them listing their air time and premiere date.  Product placement.  It would have been awesome if they had little Tampax Pearls in their hands.  They perpetually look like a tampon commercial.

      How odd.
Julie Bowen looks great in that photo, but once she was breathing and talking on camera it looked terrible.
Not an ugly dress and she is lovely, BUT she looked like Skeletor. So much so that my husband asked me if she was sick…from her collar bones to her boobs she looked scary.

    • Anonymous

I had one of TLo’s “Sweet Jesus on a breadstick!” moments when I saw Paz. Lordy that woman is the picture definition of trashy.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1046681022 Paula Berman

Julie Bowen’s dress looked horrible when she was accepting her award.  My husband said it made her look like two orange halves were glued halfway down her ribcage, and he’s right.  She needed to jack the ladies up and cover the torso.  The dress looks fine standing still, but in motion?  Very unflattering.  I felt kind of bad for her.

Is Kaley Cuoco crying in that picture? She looks as if she either had the flu or had just been smacked for wearing ridiculous nail polish.

      Like her dress, though.

Evan Rachel Wood is EVERYTHING! I like Anna Farris dress on her, the hair and make-up leave something to be desired. What is the point with Paz, she is always a train wreck followed by tornado and topped off with a brush fire.

Can’t believe you don’t have a pic or comment about Drew Barrymore!!!!  T. I’m on your side about Gwynie. Sorry have to agree with the haters of Julianna Margulies dress didn’t love it at all.  Also no comment on Katie Holmes saggy baggy shapeless gown? Loved the color but too casual and did nothing for her.  Hated most of Jane Lynch’s dresses too.  When she came back after opening # & first break in the same tin foil gown I was shuddering for her!

Is Paz de la Huerta on drugs? She’s so gorgeous! Why does she work so hard to be so terrifyingly ugly?! The only explanation I can think of is DRUGS. Soooo much drugs.

Ana Faris and Emily Blunt for the win in this group.  Poor Paz.  Her makeup scheme is utterly destroying what would otherwise have been a delightfully trashy gladiatorix look.

Paz, ugghh, I just can’t. Everyone* else is on the Best Dressed list compared to her. Maybe that’s what she’s going for—to own the Worst Dressed list.

*Except Bonnie Bentley, who clearly thought she was going to a revival of Beverly Hillbillies. Or Jayma Mays, who had a gig as Glenda the Good Witch, for a late night performance. She has a fold-up wand in her purse.

What bugs me about Paz de la Huerta is that her looks are not effortless, she has a certain look (I think of it as back alley rock n’ roll after the drugs start taking their toll but right before anybody inside the circle is admitting there is a problem) anyway, a certain look that she chooses to project.  She’s the epitome of the sort of person that I wouldn’t believe much of what’s in print about her & her background, she strikes me as someone who tells the story she wants to tell to further the impression she’s trying to make. So who knows?

But for the life of me, I’m having a hard time figuring out why she’s fostering an image that makes worse any need that exists in reality to continually prove that she’s not too messed up to live up to her abilities, whatever they are.

OMG, that parenthetical sentence.  I bow down to you in awe and wonder.  LMAO

      • http://profiles.google.com/trashilove { edi } ilovetrash

(I think of it as back alley rock n’ roll after the drugs start taking their toll but right before anybody inside the circle is admitting there is a problem)

it takes years & years & years & years & years & sometimes it still doesnt happen. & sometimes, even if it does, that problem-recognition doesnt take. or it takes for someone & not for everyone. & that excess of everyone end up losing everything & living in spare rooms in other peoples houses {after losing their own houses, vacation houses, multiple cars & motorcycles, etc & ect}.

        too too evocative, yr sentence.
dont mind me, i’m just loitering over here waiting for other peoples problems to end.

        • Anonymous

The evocative sentence for me (probably why I went there looking at Paz) was the other night watching a rerun of American Masters on PBS – Carole King & James Taylor – Taylor’s manager when he became successful was talking about how long it took him to catch on, he said something like “it took me a long time to realize – I just thought he was spending a lot of time in the bathroom” and bam! there I was reminded of stuff long gone from daily thoughts.

My view is from way lower down on the arts & entertainment industry food chain. I never knew anyone rich or even semi-famous but except that I imagine that having lots of money (& making lots of money for others) makes the papering-over-the-cracks over & over again phase last longer, the whole messy, uneven, miserable, tortured process through addiction to fragile recovery, mental & emotional collapse, death, or sometimes even a healthy recovery is not so different.

anyway, i havent really been able to concentrate since i got the email. life is hard.
people dont realize that you can do drugs in yr twenties, if you want, then maybe in yr thirties– but less, when you start hitting yr forties & yr still hitting the idiotpipe the way you were in yr twenties, if not more, oh heavens, it’s not attractive & it will ruin yr life.

edited cos boy, i really cant concentrate today.

Sad for you. Sometimes, life is hard.

It also gets harder & harder to be the life raft as the years mount up.

When I was 17 I thought my mom was cold & cynical and *wrong* to say I should always ask if a person made my life better or worse, on balance, and regulate friendships etc. accordingly. Now I wish I could tattoo that question on my 17-yr-old’s forearm.  HA. As if she’d believe me.

Sometimes there is no right or wrong, just what we have to do, come what may, or what we are too tired to do anymore.  Hope you soon arrive at what peace clarity can bring.

Anna Faris – PrettyAnna Torv – She looks, but she should have worn black shoesBonnie Bentley – Pretty but it seems a little causal for the EMMYSCara Buono – Hate the sash training on the groundEmily Blunt – Love that midnight blue on herJayma Mays – Too pale and too fussyMichelle Dockery – The dress and hair are just as matronly on her as the Glee gals dresses.Julie Bowen – I loved her entire look. I think the dress required a simple hair style like this.Jurnee Smollett – I thought this was really pretty on her.
Kaley Cuoco – The entire outfit looks like she’s going to the prom, including the mixed match nail polish.Kelly Macdonald – Maybe she’s going for a different image but I don’t like this dress on her and I think the smokey eye is much too severe.Kelly Osbourne – I thought the eyes were a little heavy but I liked the dress.
Lea Michele – The back of this was gorgeous!
Loretta Devine – Great color and even though I agree on the bra issue, I still this this is the best she has looked in a long time.Michele Forbes – Standard but nice.Annie Ilonzeh, Minka Kelly, and Rachel Taylor – Annie needs to lose the stupid head band, Minka looks nice and Rachel needs a dress with some color.Mireille Enos – Anything is a step up from her The Killing outfits, but this average dress is lost in a sea of red dresses , especially when Lea and Nina were wearing such stunning red dresses.
Paula Abdul – Odd boobs aside the belt looks too bulky.Paz de la Huerta – Cray cray and tackyRashida Jones – I’m giving her a pss on the lack of color. Most days she’s a fashion don’t. This is a step up.

Coming back for a second look, I am wild about the print on the dress Anna Faris is wearing. A little bit Art Deco, a little bit Frank Lloyd Wright.

Does anyone know who the designer is?

    • Anonymous

Love Anna Faris’ and Kelly Macdonald’s dresses…both very ‘classic film star.’  I wish Kelly’s hair was less severe to go with how stunning the rest of her is.

Paz…well, train wreck as usual.  I bet that dress is gorgeous on a mannequin with something approaching a human skin tone.

    • Anonymous

Too many breast issues–All I saw when Loretta Devine was on stage last night were the breasts that sadly needed a bra–Love Julie Bowen’s dress but during her acceptance speech I was afraid there would be a wardrobe malfunction.  Guess she had some double stick tape.  Don’t usually like the vaginal frame but Anna Farris’s dress is stunning.

    • RyzandShyn

When I watched Loretta Devine presenting, I couldn’t tear my eyes away from the side-falling boobs. She’s gonna wanna kill somebody when she sees the tape. It must have been uncomfortable to walk in because the dress isn’ holding them in place at all.
I agree with your point that the there were just too many boob-lines lower than they should be. Kelly’s is a good example.

        Right. There. With. You.

If not for TLo, I wouldn’t know who the hell anyone is in pop culture today. And frankly, I still don’t know. They’re an endless parade of look-alike ingenues created for gay fashion bloggers to discuss.

The fun is the standouts. To me, Paz de la Huerta is a character created by T and Lo for entertainment on their blog, because I have not the slightest idea what she does other than turn up on red carpets looking like a tall, sulky Oompa Loompa. (At least she doesn’t look like everyone else. If I saw her in another venue, I could identify her!)

Flamenco hem has given Anna Torv’s arms a strange gorillaesque proportion.

After multiple combined seasons in two shows that required dumpy clothes, no makeup and sometimes oddly pulled-back hair, Mireille Enos gets to wear the 2011 Emmy’s Offiical Ladies Uniform anywhere she wants.

Kudos to Emily Blunt and Anna Faris.  Beautiful choices.  I am developing a strong disdain for dresses with fishtails.  Eight seasons of PR ruined them for me.

Why is Michelle Dockery dressed like Mrs. Danvers from “Rebecca”?  Did she creep up behind Jayma Mays and whisper, “Why don’t you do it?  Go ahead. Jump. He never loved you, so why go on living? Jump and it will all be over…”

Oh, Loretta your girls look so sad. They’re crying out for some support. Paula A. you are freaking me out! Seriously.
Watch what you say about Kelly MacDonald. Looks like she’s ready to cut a bitch.
Mireille Enos cleans up nice as does Michele Forbes. Michele looking very elegant.
Lea Michele looks pretty enough here but when she was moving (and in other photos) the top of the bodice/neckline looked awkward to me, as if it didn’t fit properly. But, go ahead and pose your little brains out girl.
I’m sorry Lo but I don’t get the love for Cara Buono’s dress. It’s all shiny and puckery and that swath of silver isn’t helping. T wins out this time.
Anna Ferris’ dress is beautiful. LOVING the art deco detailing.
None of the new angels look happy. I kind of like white angel’s look though. Pretty.
And then there was The Paz. Thank you for making me feel better about myself. You are truly a gift from the Fug gods. We should all make a sacrifice to the Fug gods for the gift that is The Paz. Dark bronzer and brown lipstick and cheap satin perhaps?

You guys were obviously in a good mood when you wrote this. I didn’t like half of these as well as you two did.

My main disagreement, and it’s far from the only one, was your assessment of Michelle Dockery. I’m sorry, but that tit window isn’t going to look good on anyone.

As a big girl myself, I’m giving Loretta D some skate points. The only way to hold those girls up in that dress is if the bra was built into the dress. Given the decolletage of the dress, I can imagine the designer being flummoxed by that concept, particularly if s/he isn’t a specialist in dealing with larger women’s bodies.

Anna Torv looks like a glamorous gothic bridesmaid, but not in a bad way.  I don’t know who Bonnie Bentley is, but she looks so happy! Emily Blunt’s makeup looks a little greasy.  I actually love Michelle Dockery’s styling, in not taking emphasis of her glamorous dress, but the sleeves should have been tighter.  I like Kelly Osbourne, it suits her.  I’m afraid I find Lea Michele a bit too linebackerish with the heavy shoulders and her slim hips. Rashida Jones needed that dress in a less muddy colour.    .

This is a much better grouping than Part I. So much better! I couldn’t believe I was actually liking one after the other. That never happens on the red carpet.

The single glaring exception, who made me throw up in my mouth a little: Paz de la Huerta.
There’s a wonderful Yiddish (German) word: “ausvarf.” It means a throw-out, an abortion (not the medical kind), and is likely the origin of “barf.” I feel like I have to bathe when I see a picture of her.
