In or Out: Zoe Saldana in Chloé

Posted on July 11, 2011

You guys, we feel a little funny. Red carpet superstar (in our minds, at least) Zoe Saldana is wearing a pretty dress WHICH IS POORLY ACCESSORIZED. Just when we thought we’d gotten Cate Blanchett semi-rehabilitated, another one drops from lack of fabuloxygen.

PinZoe Saldana arrives at The Foundation Polo Challenge sponsored by Audi at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club in Santa Barbara, California. Zoe wears a Chloe dress, Van Cleef and Arpels jewelry, Valentino wedges, and a Lanvin clutch.

To be fair, she chose the belt as it was originally paired with the dress for the presentation. It’s still not a great belt for this dress. She chose to do something a little interesting and wore it with the buckle facing behind her, which we kind of like, but it still doesn’t make the belt look any less incongruous with the dress. But the real offense here are the shoes. They’re pretty fab on their own but they’re completely wrong with this dress. And what’s up with the high collar or scarf she’s wearing here? The dress looks much better without it so we’re assuming she has a massive hickey.

VOTE NOW!

IN! It’s classic romantic with an edge, you bitches!

OUT! Did she choose her accessories via dartboard?

The Minion Opinion on Jen Aniston’s “I can go potty all by myself!” dwess was an OUT, which is as it should be.
