In or Out: Jennifer Aniston in Valentino Couture

Posted on July 21, 2011

We’re getting a little tired of being gentle with this one and offering hosannas to the slightest move outside of her tiny little comfort zone. It’s time to get bitchy again.

Jennifer Aniston attends the UK film premiere of ‘Horrible Bosses’ in a Valentino dress and Tom Ford shoes.

Valentino Fall 2011 Couture Collection/Model: Josephine Skriver (MARILYN)

But not too bitchy. We really love that dress on her. She’s made some missteps along the way lately, but she’s clearly trying to change up the silhouette. Gone are the strapless bathtowels; she’s been working fuller skirts to great effect and even manages to get her arms in some sleeves every now and then. This has a great shape and looks fantastic on her. It’s typically colorless but we don’t mind so much because the dress has some interesting details like the braiding and the glittery pattern all over it. Hair and makeup is very soft and pretty, earning our approval. It’s THOSE FREAKING SHOES  that are giving us migraines. Can we just take a moment and use all our bitchy blogging powers to say? Ew. Seriously. Those are “ew” shoes; somewhere between a post-surgery wrap and a corrective shoe with a stilleto heel. Those bitches are just plain UGLY.

VOTE NOW!

IN! That dress is gorgeous and the shoes are interesting!

OUT! Another colorless frock and shoes that look like foot hammocks!

The Minion Opinion for yesterday’s I/O posts were as follows:

Emma Stone’s hiptastic dress got an OUT.

Marisa Tomei’s twisted, draped neutral got an IN.

Her second toe is looking mighty strangled. Gross. Love the dress. Hair looks good, but I’m sick of all the “zsuzshing” she does to it, which gives her a perpetually frizzy crown.

    • http://profiles.google.com/adj.blair Adriana Blair

AH! I had to go back and take another look at that toe…*shudder*

    • Anonymous

Ick! I just saw that, so gross.

      • Anonymous

Those shoes don’t fit. Did she have novacaine injected into her foot before wearing them?

    • Anonymous

      Vomit! Ew!

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=513945580 Megan Patterson

Is that like, her toe knuckle? It looks like a half formed baby toe on top, ewwww! I like the dress though. It’s TO HER KNEES OMG. But yeah, those shoes are the worst.

    • Shannon 1

Settle down, folks. It’s just a bent toe knuckle.

      • Anonymous

Are you sure? Could it be the corn or bunion to end all corns and bunions?

    • Anonymous

It might be toe buckle — or it might be hammertoe…..given her proclivity to wear high heels….her feet may be suffering.

      • http://profiles.google.com/valencia.lucia87 Lucía Valencia

        ALRIGHT STOP! HAMMERTOE!

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_QBJTK2EXO2OQPE7TELWAVVDTKE Sara

That is not her 2nd toe…it is her 3rd pushed over her 2nd toe – GROSS!

  • Anonymous

Rach gets a **TOTAL IN** from me!  Love the dress and the fact that she’s branching out, stylewise.  I think the shoes are cute!  Alot better than the standard nude shoes we’ve been seeing on everybody and their mothers.

  • Anonymous

Apparently I have no taste.  I like the damned shoes (don’t love ‘em, but like ‘em.)  And I really like the dress, so a big ole IN from me (and even if I hated the shoes, I’d give her an in from the ankles up.)

  • Anonymous

It’s a really pretty dress and it she looks great in it.
I was all set to give her snaps for at least wearing shoes that are different than her usual choice of strappy sandal and also for being different from what everyone else is wearing, but once I saw the close-up, I cringed. THEY UUUGLY.

  • http://jessieliz.wordpress.com/ Super Red

oh. oh wow. Toes aren’t supposed to do that. It’s one thing if someone is wearing shoes that look like they’re painful, it’s another when you can actually SEE the gymnastics that ones toes have to do in order to fit into (ugly) shoes.

LOVE the dress….. But it’s not fabulous enough to save her. Sorry Jen. OUT.

  • http://www.facebook.com/marvin.nisperos Marvin Nisperos

From afar i didn’t really hate the shoes. But the close-up… ew!
And what’s happening with her toe?!?

    • Anonymous

I’m not sure, but it looks like she might just be flexing her toe or something.  God knows that if you snapped a picture of my feet at the wrong moment my toes would look disfigured since I move them around a lot if I’m not doing anything else (I’m fidgety).  But maybe her toe is just a crazy person, who knows.

The dress is in, the shoes are out. Look at her poor toe! I’ll give her an In overall though because the dress looks so nice on her.

  • http://twitter.com/ShelfAfterlife Shelf Afterlife

I’ll give her an IN for looking fab from the ankles up.

  • Anonymous

Love it…from tip to toe. Love the shoes…also love the shoes on the model. Big old IN from me. Love you Jen….mwaaaaaa!

  • http://twitter.com/ssechan Sarah Sechan

For some reason, when I saw the way her toes poke out, I thought of vaginas. The dress is pretty fierce, though.

  • http://phantomminuet.blogspot.com/ MinAgain

Not crazy about the shoes, but that’s a fantastic dress.  Jen still needs to do something with her hair, though.  Boooooring!

    • Anonymous

Yeah, let’s face it, that haircut was a huge step for her. Somebody probably had to hold her hand and gently reassure her while the hairdresser snipped away. It’s basically the same style as before, just a different length, but I still think it looks infinitely better than before.

      • http://www.GiftedCollector.com Nancy Abrams

The hair would look a lot better without the black roots. I’m not being photographed every day of my life, but I take great care to be sure I don’t have a growth like that.

I do love the dress and think she looks wonderful in it.

The black roots are enough to give her an OUT.

  • Anonymous

The dress just isn’t enough to overcome those shoes.  Out!

  • Judy_J

This is the best I’ve seen her look in a very long time.  That dress looks fantastic on her.  The shoes are awful, and her poor toe…is that a corn or does she have hammertoes?  Anyway, I give her an IN.

  • http://twitter.com/miggylol Miggy!

I like the shoes with this particular dress, so she gets a total IN from me. They make a nice graphic visual that mimics the diamonds of the skirt’s woven pattern, and so it all ties together. Ouch to what they’re doing to her toes, though.

  • Anonymous

What is wrong with her toes??   Is that from the shoes?

I like the dress on her.  It’s a nice departure from her usual (played out) look.  But those shoes. Oy vey.

  • Anonymous

I can’t even comment on the clothes because I can’t get over the photo that makes it looks like she has a goiter on her toe. I’m totally skeeved out.

  • Anonymous

In, even though the shoes are pretty awful.   I love the mauve-y version of the dress on the runway (or is that just lighting?)

    • http://twitter.com/Kikishua Crishna Simmons

I do prefer the runway colour – much more interesting.

  • AudraR

I actually kind of like the shoes, but I wouldn’t have put them with that dress. I give her an IN.

  • Anonymous

Love the dress — in! But the shoes… just… no.

She need a style intervention badly! The dress is an improvement for her, but no color, no accessories and bad shoes seem to be her motto!

Are you kidding me?  I LOVE those shoes!  I love little bow ties on the back of the ankle straps.  Not big ones, just little ones like this.  Personally, though the dress is great a LITTLE color would’ve made it better.  THAT’S where she gets points off for me.

    Still, an IN.

IN because the dress is really great.  I agree the shoes are icky and they make her feet look completely unsupported.

    IN for the dress.

I actually think that it’s a toe. But, if it isn’t —– major ewwwww. That’s almost as gross as the shoe itself. I keep trying to redesign the shoe. I give up. It’s just fug. Fug and odd. Oh, and I ldo ike the dress on her a lot.

    IN for the dress.

  • AWStevens

The shoes seem fine to me.  It’s her toes that are HIDEOUS!  I definitely see a bunion.  The dress is boring and looks better on the model.  Ms Aniston needs support in the boobage area, she’s not on “Friends” anymore.  The perky 90s are ovah…  A very reluctant and pity IN.

  • KATHRYN WHITE

In, because the dress is gorgeous and really flatters her. It could have been amazing with a better shoe choice though… I can see the dress looking great with a heel in a jewel-tone.

  • Anonymous

The shoes are indeed hiddy, but she looks great otherwise. Love that dress. IN.

  • Anonymous

She is really looking good; short hair, new silhouettes, no naked shoes. Are there new gays in her life?
    Oh, and I say IN.

  • Anonymous

Love the dress. It’s the kind of dress that I can delude myself into thinking I could pull off. Even with the shoes, I vote “in.”

  • Anonymous

Can’t believe she’s wearing a knee-length, non-low-cut dress! Bravo! However, agree with comments about boobage support…and the shoes are just beyond the pale. Ugly, don’t fit her and just wrong.

However, on the strength of the dress alone – I will vote IN.

  • lilibetp

The dress is in.  The dark roots give the hair an out.  The shoes are out enough on their own, but that weird toe gets its own out.  I’ll be bitchy and say I find her horsefaced and seriously wish she’d disappear from public view.

  • http://profiles.google.com/decapod73 T.S. Alexander

One accessory isn’t enough to kill it in this case. IN.

I love the dress AND the shoes! It looks like she may have a problem toe, but how many close up of feet are usually taken on the red carpet? Could have used a better foundation garment (i.e. bra), but I think she looks beautiful. IN

IN because I love the dress, and the shoes, while hiddy, aren’t enough to fail her completely. Nice try Jen, but I think I’d actually prefer naked sandals to these.

    IN….

While the shoes are a crime against humanity and probably banned from view by the Geneva Convention, the dress is adorable and it’s interesting, so I’ll give her an IN, with a stern warning about her shoe choice next time.

Her breasts appear to be running away from each other. And the patterning on the upper part of the dress looks oddly like a sternum. The shoes are an abomination. A round OUT, I say.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_35OW6VJZLWTQDQHS4JLRTVC2JA Akumabunny

I thought the top of the dress resembled a chest ex-ray as well!  I also think it makes her chest look in dire need of support garments, which I doubt is truly the case.  The shoes are just unmentionable in polite company.

    • Anonymous

I agree. The dress makes her boobs look 20 years older than she is.

  • Anonymous

Well, at least the shoes aren’t nude heels.  Is that a hammertoe on her foot? Ow. Maybe the shoes *are* post-surgery wraps.

  • Anonymous

Yay, a grownup dress with some style, a side part and no orange skin. Totally agree about the godawful shoes, but they’re overshadowed by the positive elements. In.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002173039987 Deb B-Rocker

IN, OMG, that’s a gorgeous dress and perfect for her. It’s still a safe color, but it has bling. And srsly you guys, the toe: she’s just scrunching/bending her toes (flexing them?). So it makes that bend in the knuckle of the toe. Her toes are prob. just crying to get away from the horrendous shiny slings on her feet. Man those are icky shoes! Even the stiletto doesn’t save the shoe. I know she’d never do it, but I think that she should have put her hair UP, to show of her shoulders and the lovely detailed neckline on that dress. And, really? Jewelry??? Nothing? she didn’t have ANYTHING in her mansion that could’ve worked?

  • http://twitter.com/warontara Tara

The dress is fine…lovely, even….but she needs to consult with somebody about colors that compliment her skin-tone. Also, do something (anything!)  interesting with her hair, find some shoes that don’t look like they’re part of a “sexy ballerina” Halloween costume and either wear closed-toe shoes or address that bunion. Lowercase out.

  • Mariah J

Dress is cute, the shoes aren’t *that* bad, the ankle straps ruin them though….The real crime is her hair, the tiger stripe look was out like 5 years ago.
I’ll give it a reluctant IN

  • Anonymous

She looks great! I love her in this dress. However, y’all are right. Those shoes are strange. That color just looks wrong with that dress. I don’t the shoe design itself, just the color. She gets an IN from me!

  • Anonymous

The shoes are heinous. Her make-up looks great. The dress is a lovely shape for her, but: I don’t care how slammin’ your bod is, when you’re past 40 you need either a bra or some decent support in the bust of the dresses you wear. Plus this one is not quite as opaque as one could wish in that region, which comes across as super tacky.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WendyLKaufman Wendy Kaufman

The dress is just fine. Shoes, in my book are fine as well. There are far worse out there, and they meet my criteria: Toes stay on the shoe sole. No obvious cutting or binding. And, as one with cankles, anyone who can pull off the ankle strap should wear it. The only issue I have is that the shoes are too white. My eye goes right to them. Pearl grey would have been nicer.

    • Anonymous

hammer toe + flat, saggy boobs = fail

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Micaela-Cannon/1465504041 Micaela Cannon

Put those shoes in black and they wouldn’t be half so bad. They are clearly supposed to be a take on a ballet slipper, but in that color…and maybe the open toe too, it just really, really, really doesn’t work.  I had to give this a great deal of thought because the shoes are pretty fug, but I can’t say that they ruin an otherwise obvious IN for me. So IN it is

Oh, I forgot. They have ANKLE STRAPS! The horrors!!!! TLO must have the vapors right now!

  • http://www.facebook.com/sorana.tarmu Sorana Tarmu

The dress looks much better on the model. She just looks like a drab dressed old aunt at a wedding. OUT.

  • Anonymous

Super-cute dress = an ‘in’ from me. At least the shoes aren’t the typical barely-there heeled sandal.

  • Ted Kane

There’s something about the combination of her and that dress that says “insufficient foundation garments” to me.  Also, she could maybe use a root touch-up on the hair.  She doesn’t look bad here, but that’s only because she’s so good looking to start with.  It’s a marginal out from where I’m sitting.

  • Vaniljekjeks

In, because the dress is really flattering on her.  Those shoes are really hideous though.  Really.

  • Anonymous

I didn’t mind the shoes when I saw them on your FB page, but now at second viewing I really don’t like them. I love the dress, though. The toe still freaks me out. Is commenting on that verboten? If so, apologies, but DAMN!

omg wtf with those shoes?!?!  i love the dress so im going to give her an IN, but shes going to have to promise to burn those shoes & slap whoever made her wear them.

The shoes are ugly, as you said, but I’m grading her an ‘in’ because otherwise this is a good effort.  Like the dress.  The hair – eh.

  • Anonymous

Like dress, but it was only after I recovered from the shoes.  Then I stared at her right foot…is that a toe joint hanging on for dear life?  Shudder..

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_UCLO5V2YD36T7QMPKOC7YXPOFU Erica

She’s just flexing her toe, but the shoes still look like they are strangling her feet, and they are white, and I think they are too tall for that type of heel construction.  And she’s not wearing a bra.  And her hair needs a touch up.  BUT, an IN, because the dress is very pretty, her skin color is normal, her arms look great in the dress, and she has her hair parted on the side.

  • Anonymous

oh, dear, i think that is a BIG ASS BLISTER on her toe, not her bent toe.  maybe that’s why she’s in those shoes- more coverage, and it looks like fabric that won’t rub??  anyway, she looks great.  i can’t figure out the shoes.  sometimes my gut reaction is BLEH, other times it’s “unusual, kinda cute?”

    • Anonymous

Yeah, I also wondered whether she had a blister.

    • Anonymous

Agreed, it’s too round a bulbous to be a bent knuckle (plus you don’t see it on the other foot).

I LOVE the dress.  Didn’t even notice any boob issues.  The shoes might’ve gotten a pass (though they still wouldn’t have been great) were it not for the ribbon ankle strap.

  • http://profiles.google.com/kaitlyn.prenger Kaitlyn Prenger

Out. The shoes are wretched, and I don’t care for the dress. Maybe because she has more chest than the model, maybe because she needs a better bra, but it looks downright weird across the front. Also, her roots need done like whoa. All that money and you can’t even keep your roots from showing?

IN.  Dress is shiny, but neither tight nor short!  And I think it looks great on her.  The shoes are ugly but don’t ruin the look.  Still am mystified by the dark roots–why does she do that?  Why doesn’t she have them touched up?  Does anyone know?

  • MilaXX

Jeez, we were complaining about Marissa’s feet?! WTF is up with hers? Ugly feet and shoes aside, this is an IN because she’s dressing her age and mostly looking cute doing so. I really like the dress and even though the shoe is hiddy, it’s not a strappy sandal. She even seems to have put forth an effort to wear a makeup shade other than Cali neutral.

  • Anonymous

Love the dress and love it on her.

News flash: It turns out that even a movie star can have actual imperfect feet.  I suppose she could have chosen a neutral pump, but that wouldn’t go with the dress and she’d be slammed. She could have chosen a delicate sandal, but that would have really exposed her imperfect feet and she’d be slammed. Instead she’s got something that sort of works with the dress and doesn’t lay completely bare her troublesome toe. Still slammed. Girl can’t win.

  • http://wipgirl.wordpress.com/ kristel

Can I IN the dress and OUT the shoes? Those shoes are god-awful, but the dress is pretty great. (I like the colour on the model better though.)

  • ceb347

For a second I thought her bunched up second toe was an extra toe. Weeeird.

  • Anonymous

No, I like the shoes a lot — just w/o the ankle ribbon. They are gorgeous, although maybe they would look better in black. The dress is pretty and the fabric has a lot of interest. I’m OK with this outfit.

  • Anonymous

The dress is stunning.  Absolutely stunning — amazing detail, love the shape and the hem.  The shoes, on the other hand, are revolting.  The sheer beauty of the dress makes this an IN, but the shoes depress me and the image of her toes scrunching up like that make me wince in pain.

  • Anonymous

Ok, I can’t believe I looked this up. But here’s a picture of her feet from a different angle:

    http://www.stylebistro.com/lookbook/Jennifer+Aniston/itmp6Un8q6h

I think she is just scrunching her toes. Maybe that’s what she does when she’s tense or perhaps she was just trying not to slide out of the shoe. Anyhoo, FWIW.

  • Anonymous

Her poor toe!  Man, if her foot hurts as much as it looks like, then bravo to her for smiling for the pictures!

The shoes are too much white and too much upper material…they draw your eye away from the dress.

Not loving the close-up pictures of the tootsies!

  • Liana Brooks

In – I don’t love the dress but the shoes are fabulous!

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_B53PQYXSJR4YJBV3J6BWYSICRQ Jamie

IN – don’t like the shoes, but otherwise she looks great.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_QBJTK2EXO2OQPE7TELWAVVDTKE Sara

Dress is IN and shoes are OUT….So I have to say IN b/c the dress, hair and makeup are all good.  Can we just cut her off at the ankles?  It would solve a lot of shoe issues

  • Anonymous

Ooooh, I am torn. It’s a beautiful dress, except I prefer the color of the model’s. Hair, check; makeup, check; dress, check; shoes, ch…ukggah. How to vote? Girls got some squashed tootsies there. It’s the ER challenge on PR!

Sorry Jen, I just can’t. OUT.

  • Anonymous

    Love the hair.
Dress is definitely an improvement over the bathtowels.
But she’s still needs to embace colour.
And the shoes are truly craptastic.
    OUT.

  • Michael Jo

    pfft. like the shoes. in

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_OSYAJATXUH3QX7ZDDF52GXG4PU Janie R

Her shoes look like a craft project.

  • Anonymous

She gets an IN for the dress, but the shoes, dark roots and apparent lack of a bra send her into OUT territory….

  • http://profiles.google.com/mercbubble42 Jessica O’Connell

Those shoes look like they hurt… And they’re ugly… Why would you wear those??
I like the dress on her though… so I’ll give an IN but only just.

  • Anonymous

I’ll give her an IN just for the dress.

  • http://twitter.com/democracydiva Democracy Diva

OUT, if only for the shoes.Ick.

  • Anonymous

    Out….why is she still around?

  • Anonymous

I’m gonna say IN. I didn’t think the shoes were actually that bad…from a distance. They almost look like peeptoe pumps crossed with a slingback.

  • Florrie Brafman

    IN!  I love the pleating.

  • http://twitter.com/poptartsjen Pop Tarts Jen

    Those shoes are HORRID.

I like the dress A LOT – I am a slut for shiny! – but those shoes are so bad that she gets an OUT from me!

  • http://twitter.com/pag_baj Paige Boerman

OUT for the aggressively ugly shoes.

  • Anonymous

In and that is some very serious hammer toe going on there.

  • Anonymous

In.  The dress is attractive enough to make up for the lack of color.  I’m ignoring the shoes because I can’t look at the toes again.

  • http://twitter.com/mollynoodles Molly Harrington

I really, really, HATE the shoes. However, I’m willing to overlook that and give it an IN. The dress looks fabulous on her, much better than what she usually wears. Although I wish she would throw in some color. Baby steps..

  • Anonymous

I had a teacher in high school who had foot surgery. She had to wear one of those post-surgery shoes. We called it the “funny boot.” It used to crack us the hell up. These shoes, however, are neither “funny” nor “boots”. They are HORRIBLE.

  • Anonymous

IN because the dress looks very pretty on her, though she’s pushing it with those shoes. She chose those shoes??? From the girl who likes wearing the barely there strappy sandals…to these? Okay, let me go back and look at the dress to soothe my eyes.

  • Anonymous

God, is this the most boring woman in the world??? Colorless, just like her clothes. That is why she dresses like that, she, personally, has no color. Boring, boring, boring, frumpy, OUT.

  • margaret meyers

    That dress is SO ladylike!

  • Anonymous

The shoes look positively orthopedic. The dress seems a little too big for her. But it’s pretty. She looks good. Overall, IN.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_3CGY36NG25QFIZQOLMH7SQTKLU andrew

IN.  LIke the dress and actually kinda like the shoes.  That weird extra toe-looking mess on one of her feet makes me crazy, but the shoes themselves are different and not so bad. Wish she’d have worn some nice jewelry to add some pop to the ensemble, but baby steps, I guess.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_F73LIJ3SJGI5AJQMXMWXCKILHI Pamela

Oh dear, Jen-I have some bracelets and rings and other jewelry you can borrow.  Since you apparently don’t OWN any.
That’s her bunched-up toe; I don’t care if you weigh 45 pounds, those heels will force your toes to bunch at some point in time.

IN. Love the dress and the shoes are . . . would be . . . interesting in another color, maybe. Or two tone.

  • Anonymous

The shoes are ugly but she looks pretty otherwise. IN (probably my first one for her).

  • Anonymous

The shoes i can’t even look, but i’m not crazy about the dress either and i really hate her hair colour, i think it washes her out.
    so, OUT all around.

  • Anonymous

I am giving it an IN because I like the dress, hair, and makeup. I agree on the ick factor of the shoes, not because of what you said but because there is something CLEARLY wrong with the second toe on the foot closest to the photographer. There is grossness going on there that shouldn’t be seen on the red (or blue) carpet.

  • Anonymous

I think it’s mssing something without the silver hose.

    Those shoes are heinous. OUT.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1511310208 Lee Reece

My first reaction was “…oh?”. SO on the fence! In? because it’s not a Calvin Klein-esque strapless sheath and I can’t see her foot veins?

  • Anonymous

    IN

I like all except, of course, the shoes.

  • Anonymous

those shoes are totally bridesmaids shoes, when the bride is a total bridezilla.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=745465637 Nellie Wilson

Adore the dress – IN. The shoes? Ugh. They would look silly on anyone over 25.

  • Presumptuous Insect

What is with the bump on her toe?  Bleurgh.

  • http://vhanna26.typepad.com Vera

    iLike.

  • Anonymous

What can be said about the shoes that hasn’t already been said?  Post-surgery, indeed.  I don’t understand the appeal of her at all–seems like a boring person (no problem with that–so am I) and is certainly an extremely boring actress (more problematic).  I’m mystified by all of the attention she gets.

  • http://twitter.com/Unclassical Alexandria N

IN. The dress & makeup are too good to be outed by shitty shoes with pretty bows

  • http://twitter.com/danielleRwest Danielle West

In.  Sorry–but I kind of like the shoes.  I think she’s really working the outfit.

  • Anonymous

Top half is pretty, but the bottom of the glittery skirt bugs me. And the mutilated toe caused by her shoes cements this look as an OUT.

  • http://twitter.com/rgmx Mercy

I had shoes like that in middle school.  I shudder to remember.  But this ‘fit is an OUT for me. that pattern was not meant to rest on the breasts of a normal female.  It makes them look… strange.

  • Anonymous

I think there needs to be a piece on celebrity feet, seems they are the great equalizer….yeah!!! Maybe in another color for the shoes

  • http://www.facebook.com/atelierjl Atelier Jimmy Leonardo

The shoe is extremely awful that it makes nude pumps look stylish (well, in some case it is true).

I’d still give an IN though. The dress is gorgeous. She just have to take the shoes off and burn them.

  • http://www.deathbywhippedcream.com/ Addis R. Pérez

It is a nice dress, but I think it looks better on the model. Because Jennifer has a positive-sized bust line, the oval rings on the dress encircle her boobs – yikes!

  • sonictofu

The shoes are bad but overall she looks good.  If they were bad AND boring, the scale might tip the other way, but as they are she merits an IN.

  • Anonymous

hate the shoes but everything else is an IN

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_GTUWLNT6JIKVDYS2U4TQDTWFN4 Maria

I don’t think that’s her toe, there’s no nail on it… maybe a foot wart. Can I give her an In form the knees up?

  • http://profiles.google.com/sauchih Sau-Chih Feng

OMG, i loved the dress, until i saw her shoes. Then I tried to be nice and think of other outfits that might look good with the shoes, but no. They shorten her leg and make her feet look like a horse’s hoof, which is not a good look. So no. But the dress is so amazing. So I’m really torn, because she looks so good except for her feet. Argh.

Okay, maybe give her an IN, because she’s moving in the right path, and she looks good if she sits behind a table and hides her feet.

  • Anonymous

I went back and looked at her toes, because I didn’t notice the first time (I don’t know how I missed that!!!) and that is one ugly, gross looking toe. It looks like she has two second toes. Those feet should never be out of pumps. No sandals for her!!

  • Anonymous

Despite her hair being too blond, her girls looking a little droopy and those abominable shoes, the dress is killer. In.

  • Anonymous

Hmmmm – I have to admit I was ambivalent, until I looked at the shoes. Yikes! Hammertoe city.

IN .except for that little nubbin thing on her toe which is freaking me out. maybe she should have worn some closed toed shoes so as not to inflict that mess on innocent people.

  • Anonymous

At least she is wearing a longer skirt.
But I agree, what is with the weird upper toe?  If your shoes are too tight you stack up your toes? Pretty good trick,

IN. The dress makes up for the shoes.

  • Anonymous

Out (but close) the shoes look like they were made from mens fruit-of-the-looms. She is just so flipping DULL and unlikable tome. Her hair is a mop A MOP.

  • Anonymous

IN. I sort of like the contrast between the dress and the shoes. Also, that dress is pretty fabulous.

  • Anonymous

That would be an awesome dress on Michele Obama, but I don’t like it on Jennifer Aniston. She needs more support for the girls.

  • Anonymous

I usually agree with TLo about shoes but I actually like these. And I love the dress. IN

  • http://profiles.google.com/phyllis.craine Phyllis Craine

gawd the shoes are awful but the yes the edress is faboo

  • http://twitter.com/breadandputter breadandputter

I say IN. Love the dress, love the silhouette. The shoes are interersting and at least her ugly feet are mostly covered up.  Usually we are bitching about the bare sandals she wears and seeing ALL of her poor, smushed up toes exposed.

  • Anonymous

Those shoes are so horrid I can’t even pay attention to the dress. And they’re pitching her so far forward, at first I thought that knuckle of her toe was the next smallest toe stacked on top of it. OUT!

  • http://twitter.com/sylvia_warren Sylvia

In, but the dress’ design on the chest makes her breasts look droopy, and everyone knows Aniston is pure muscle. So in with reservations.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_CIPKMOXHLA5KG34HMH55OXHCVM Angel H.

To everyone making a deal about her toes:

    Get over yourselves.

  • sweetlilvoice

Out, I cannot imagine how uncomfortable those shoes must be in. If you have to be in pain, at least wear some cute shoes!

  • http://pleasewelcomeyourjudges.com/ Brian @ PWYJudges

Those shoes are awfully, but I’m still grading Jennifer on a curve. The dress, hair and makeup make it an IN!

  • Shawn Hill

It looks like her feet are being airlifted out of a disaster area.

  • oohsparkley!

IN.  In spite of the ugly shoes.  Close-ups of the feet, can sometimes be cruel.  I think she’s just gripping the sole with her feet to keep them from sliding forward, due to the height of the heel.

  • http://twitter.com/boricuaintexas Ingrid

Everything IN, except the shoes, but I am not as strong as T-Lo in my hatred of them.

  • Anonymous

    In.

  • Robert Sanchez

Agree with you guys. The dress is lovely, but the shoes are horrid. At first I thought they might look better without the ankle strap tie, but I’m not sure that can save those things.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1027947445 Jennifer Von B

Don’t think the shoes go with the dress, but I think they are pretty.

    Pretty dress. IN!

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_3NXBVKLOMNGCAVCVXOVWDGD3SE Marissa

There’s something about this…I can’t put my finger on it. Maybe it’s the length of the hem? It hits the model a bit higher and looks better, I think. Maybe the shape of the shoe does weird visual trickery to her legs? I’m not positive what it is but I’m gonna say OUT

  • Patricia Biswanger

    IN.

  • Saoirse Lee

Needs a better bra (or indeed, just a bra) to create shape as the bodice and its pattern is pushing the girls out and down.

  • Anonymous

Yeah, the second toe looks dislocated.  That CAN’T be good for her feet!  Makes my feet hurt, just to look at them.

I don’t particularly care for the dress, but it IS a lot better then her ubiquitous bathtowel.

  • Trinh D.

Forget the shoes. OMG her toes!!! Ah!!!!

  • Samantha Irene

I still say in – the shoes – aren’t so bad that they cancel out the rest

  • http://twitter.com/asciident Melissa Della

OUT because the shoes scare the hell out of me…ow.

  • http://twitter.com/rachelruthlee Rachel Lee

Something about the placement of those curvy lines on her bust makes it look sad. And those white shoes make her feet look insanely big and ugly!

  • http://profiles.google.com/mmara00 M M

The dress is interesting, BUT there is a major support issue with her bosom, AND those shoes, while I think are cute, absolutely do not go with that dress – they are competing for attention. Still, I say she gets an IN for doing –scratch–trying to pull off something different and interesting and she’s is actually kind of owning it.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_AYQCICXEN2CCDBFV5HED4Z2RUA Dee B

What is that on her TOE?????????  She clearly chose those shoes to let that alien lifeform breathe.

  • Anonymous

Gorgeous dress, fits beautifully. I really like the shoes a lot — they’re  vintage-looking and unusual. And you guys just hate ankle straps, which I love. She should get points for unusual, even if you don’t love them.
