Darlings, North America’s favorite Prince and Princess went back to their magical kingdom yesterday, leaving behind fond memories and one more outfit to discuss.
Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attend a reception to mark the Launch of Tusk Trust’s US Patron’s Circle in Santa Barbara, California. Catherine wears a pleated skirt and crochet top by Whistles paired with Belle & Mimi pumps and an L.K. Bennett clutch.
Well geez, Cathy, if you hadn’t worn two blue lace dresses on this trip already we’d be over the moon at the sight of this look. Every time she wears something with a little shape to it (which isn’t as often as it should be) she instantly looks much better. And she shouldn’t be afraid of details and design elements like pleats or crochet, for instance. We like it when a gal can work a sleek or soigné kind of look, but if she looks just as good or better with little details to make the outfit more interesting, she should indulge more often.
Hate the little bow at the waist, but we’re still pretty happy with it, Duchess. You may relax on your trip home, secure in the knowledge that these two queens approve.
