SHE: Looks stunning, full stop. You would think even nasty queens like us would find it impossible to criticize, but then you would be silly to think that. Here it is: while she looks impeccable, the problem is… she looks impeccable. No, that’s not quite it. The problem is, she looks like she’s heading to the Oscars. Female stars do occasionally dress to the nines for their movie premieres, but a look like this is usually reserved for the opening of Very Important Films and/or Oscar bait. For the third installment of a big, loud, and dumb toy commercial, this is perhaps a bit much. We’re taking half a point off for overdressing. Score: 9.5/10.

HE: Looks fine, if a bit rumpled. Aside from the pants, which need hemming, our only other complaint is how dull he looks. This is for your first day on the job as a first year associate. We’re always grateful when a male star puts the effort in, but that blue shirt with a black tie is a bit depressing and business-like. Again, half-point off. Score: 9.5/10. To be honest, that seems a little high to us for such a basic look, but our complaints are minor, so he scores as high as she did.

Combined score: 9.5/10. We keep going back to the pictures to reassess, but really, they both look pretty great.

Damn. We wanted to start the week off a whole lot bitchier than that.
